{"id":56244,"date":"2016-11-12T18:42:41","date_gmt":"2016-11-12T22:42:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=56244"},"modified":"2016-11-12T18:42:41","modified_gmt":"2016-11-12T22:42:41","slug":"new-party-emerging-out-of-election-2016-ashes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=56244","title":{"rendered":"New Party Emerging Out of Election 2016 Ashes!?!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->Carlsbad, CA<br \/>\nNovember 13, 2016<\/p>\n<p>by Rich Scheck<\/p>\n<p>I told you so: <a href=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=32281\">https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=32281<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2016 was the year the left and right should have come together around a limited<br \/>\nagenda of peace, economic fairness and resistance to globalization in the name<br \/>\nof the vast middle class at the heart of American life.<\/p>\n<p>But, by virtue of a profoundly corrupt DNC led by Debbie Wasserman Schultz<br \/>\nand a far too timid Bernie Sanders, the Democrats nominated the deeply<br \/>\ndivisive Hillary Clinton which allowed Donald Trump to step up and steel vast<br \/>\nnumbers of voters a la the Reagan Democrats of 1980.<\/p>\n<p>Trump&#8217;s victory was clearly foreseeable and would have been a slam dunk<br \/>\nfollowing Hillary&#8217;s nomination but for the completely co-opted MSM which<br \/>\npounded away at the him for the full 18 months of his candidacy.<\/p>\n<p>I reluctantly called it wrong after the third debate because of that and because<br \/>\nTrump failed to go for the jugular during his TV confrontations with Mrs. Clinton.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=52901\">https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=52901<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But the last 2 weeks saw him elevate his campaign with great speeches and<br \/>\nads that, combined with Comey&#8217;s apparent change of heart plus Weinergate,<br \/>\nled to the final collapse of Hillary&#8217;s White House dreams.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the Left is stepping up aggressively to rebuke what remains of the Clinton<br \/>\nmachine within the Democratic Party, something they feebly attempted to do<br \/>\nduring the Convention when it was clear the nomination was stolen from Sanders.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/305617-seething-liberals-vow-revolution-in-democratic-party\">http:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/305617-seething-liberals-vow-revolution-in-democratic-party<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I was repulsed by Bernie&#8217;s failure to accept Jill Stein&#8217;s invitation to go Green and by<br \/>\nhis endorsement of Clinton which I saw as a direct slap in the face to his loyal<br \/>\nsupporters who rejected Hillary&#8217;s establishment credentials, hawkish ways and<br \/>\nties to Wall Street.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=42559\">https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=42559<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=39820\">https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=39820<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is obviously too little, too late for 2016.
