New WikiLeaks emails show Clinton campaign chairman\u00a0John Podesta apparently maintained his connection to Russian government-backed Joule Unlimited long after he claimed to have\u00a0severed ties and divested from the energy company.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/header>\n

As Breitbart news previously reported<\/a>, Podesta\u00a0obtained \u201c75,000 common shares<\/a>\u201d\u00a0from his membership on Joule\u2019s\u00a0executive board. He transferred those shares to his daughter,\u00a0Megan Rouse, and\u00a0designated her Dublin, California residence as the address\u00a0for Leonidio Holdings LLC, the Delaware-based holding company that Podesta used to transfer his Joule shares.<\/p>\n

But a June 1, 2015 email from Podesta-connected investment firm Equilibrium Capital Group to Rouse reveals financial transactions occurring mere months after Podesta left the Obama administration and long after he \u201ccut his ties with Joule<\/a>,\u201d according to the\u00a0Wall Street Journal.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHi Megan, Please find attached Leonidio Holdings, LLC\u2019s 2014 K1 for ECG. Let me know if you have any questions or require any additional information. The one for John Podesta is just a final one to show the transfer,\u201d the\u00a0June 1, 2015 email<\/a> read.<\/p>\n

Rouse is listed as \u201cmanaging member\u201d of\u00a0Leonidio Holdings LLC, according to\u00a0financial documents<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The K1 tax income form attached to the email shows Podesta as being responsible for $139.328 in \u201cwithdrawls and distributions.\u201d It also lists\u00a0a partner sharing income between\u00a0Rouse, Leonidio Holdings, and several other beneficiaries and Podesta family members.<\/p>\n

\u201cMae and Gabe, Please see attached K1 for Leonidio. You can use this to complete your 2014 tax return. We will each report 1\/3 share of what\u2019s on the form. Mom and Pa, Please see attached K1 showing the distribution to Leonidio,\u201d read an email<\/a> Rouse sent in June 2015.<\/p>\n

Podesta\u2019s\u00a0membership on the board of directors of Joule Unlimited was first revealed in\u00a0research<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large and Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President Peter Schweizer.<\/p>\n

Podesta failed\u00a0to fully disclose his position on Joule Unlimited\u2019s board of directors and include it in his federal financial disclosures, as required by law, before he\u00a0became President Barack Obama\u2019s senior adviser in January 2014.<\/p>\n

Schweizer, author of\u00a0Clinton Cash,\u00a0<\/em>told the\u00a0Wall Street Journal\u00a0<\/em>that Podesta is clearly attempting to\u00a0dodge government disclosure rules.<\/p>\n

\u201cAmerica\u2019s disclosure laws are designed to allow citizens to see what conflicts of interests our senior government officials might have,\u201d Schweizer said. \u201cThat is especially the case when they or their families are financially linked to adversarial foreign governments.\u201d<\/p>\n

Podesta has yet to comment publicly on his involvement with\u00a0Joule Unlimited.<\/p>\n
