WikiLeaks has released a new batch of emails from Hillary Clinton\u2019s campaign chair John Podesta. The latest tranche comprises of around 1,577 mails, bringing the total released so far to 25,000.<\/p>\n

WikiLeaks has said it will release around 50,000 mails in total in the lead up to the presidential election on November 8.<\/p>\n

The leak comes just a day after<\/a>\u00a0WikiLeaks revealed the first batch of emails involving an account Barack Obama was possibly using before winning the election in November 2008.<\/p>\n

F**k these a**holes<\/h4>\n

When the New York Times ran an article about Clinton\u2019s email server in July 2015, the campaign were not happy.<\/p>\n

The campaign sent a letter<\/a> to the Times executive editor voicing their \u201cconcerns\u201d<\/em> about the \u201cinaccurate\u201d<\/em> article, which detailed federal inspectors\u2019 request for a criminal inquiry into Clinton\u2019s use of a private email server. The use of the word\u201ccriminal\u201d<\/em> was their biggest issue. The Times later removed the word, after making other corrections to the piece.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great,\u201d<\/em> Tanden said<\/a> on July 30, \u201cF**k these a**holes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cLove it!\u201d<\/em> Palmieri responded. \u201cThanks, Neera.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Tanden then adds that although\u00a0it <\/em>“is probably very unhealthy,”<\/em> she’s <\/em>“going to war on this on twitter.”<\/em><\/p>\n

In another email<\/a> chain, which discusses the letter, between the Clinton campaign\u2019s Director of Communications Jennifer Palmieri and press secretary Brian Fallon, the latter cites his primary worry.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy only concern is stating the article inflicted damage on our campaign. Certainly true but I worry that if we leak the letter, it could be misinterpreted as us admitting the email controversy in general is hurting us,\u201d<\/em> he says.<\/p>\n
