I would have to be a moron to say that. I would have to dislearn everything I learned in 40 years of being a politician,\u201d Giuliani told Jake Tapper.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6IdEYxc7fwg?version=3&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" width=\"640\" height=\"390\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Trump running mate Mike Pence went on NBC\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/meet-the-press\/video\/gov-mike-pence-full-interview-assault-accusations-are-unsubstantiated-786969155899\">Meet the Press<\/a>\u201d and tried to allay fears of potentially dangerous sour grapes, saying, \u201cWe will absolutely accept the result of the election,\u201d later adding that the GOP ticket will \u201caccept the will of the American people. You bet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Trump again fanned the flames with a fresh tweet saying that \u201cthe election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing Crooked Hillary \u2014 but also at many polling places \u2014 SAD.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pence\u2019s message of a peaceful transition of power echoed Democrat Al Gore, who accepted his bitter loss in 2000 as the Supreme Court ended the Florida recount.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI accept the finality of this outcome,\u201d Gore said in his December 2000 concession speech to George W. Bush, in which he also pledged to \u201chonor the new president-elect and do everything possible to help him bring Americans together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after Trump pledged Sept. 26 at the first debate that he\u2019d \u201cabsolutely\u201d accept the outcome of the election, he backtracked, saying: \u201cWe\u2019re going to have to see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An unshackled Trump has since taken to conspiracy theories that political elite and the mainstream media are colluding with Clinton to steal the election, as he\u2019s down in the polls after a rocky week in which nine women stepped forward to accuse the candidate of sexual misconduct after he bragged about groping women on a 2005 hot mic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt looks to me like a rigged election,\u201d Trump said in Portsmouth, NH, Saturday. \u201cThe election is being rigged by corrupt media pushing completely false allegations and outright lies in an effort to elect her president.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Studies suggest there are few cases of voter fraud and incidents have not affected the outcome of elections.<\/p>\n<p>News21, a reporting project affiliated with Arizona State University, in 2012 found 2,068 cases of election fraud nationwide since 2000 out of 146 million registered voters during that time. The analysis found just 10 cases involved voter impersonation \u2014 such as what Giuliani suggested.<\/p>\n<p>Newt Gingrich said Sunday that monitoring should take place at polling sites to protect against cheating.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey should.
