Recall the post from earlier this month,\u00a0<strong><a title=\"Permanent Link to Backlash Grows Months After the FBI\u2019s Sham Investigation Into Hillary Clinton\" href=\"http:\/\/libertyblitzkrieg.com\/2016\/10\/07\/backlash-grows-months-after-the-fbis-sham-investigation-into-hillary-clinton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"bookmark\">Backlash Grows Months After the FBI\u2019s Sham Investigation Into Hillary Clinton<\/a><\/strong>, in which we learned:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Feeling the heat from congressional critics, Comey last week argued that the case was investigated by career FBI agents,\u00a0\u201cSo if I blew it, they blew it, too.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>But agents say Comey tied investigators\u2019 hands by agreeing to unheard-of ground rules and other demands by the lawyers for Clinton and her aides that limited their investigation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cIn my 25 years with the bureau, I never had any ground rules in my interviews,\u201d said retired agent Dennis V. Hughes, the first chief of the FBI\u2019s computer investigations unit.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Instead of going to prosecutors and insisting on using grand jury leverage to compel testimony and seize evidence, Comey allowed immunity for several key witnesses, including potential targets.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What\u2019s more, Comey cut a deal to give Clinton a \u201cvoluntary\u201d witness interview on a major holiday, and even let her ex-chief of staff sit in on the interview as a lawyer, even though she, too, was under investigation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Agreed retired FBI agent Michael M. Biasello:\u00a0\u201cComey has singlehandedly ruined the reputation of the organization.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Comey made the 25 agents who worked on the case sign nondisclosure agreements. But others say morale has sunk inside the bureau.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cThe director is giving the bureau a bad rap with all the gaps in the investigation,\u201d one agent in the Washington field office said. \u201cThere\u2019s a perception that the FBI has been politicized and let down the country.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>While the above article focused on the opinions of retired agents, today\u2019s article zeros in on the growing frustrations of current agency employees.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2016\/10\/17\/exclusive-fbi-agents-say-comey-stood-in-the-way-of-clinton-email-investigation\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Daily Caller<\/em><\/a> reports:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>FBI agents say the bureau is alarmed\u00a0over Director James Comey deciding not to suggest that the Justice Department prosecute Hillary Clinton over her mishandling of classified information.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>According to an interview transcript given to The Daily Caller, provided by an intermediary who spoke to two federal agents with the bureau last Friday, agents are frustrated by Comey\u2019s leadership.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cThis is a textbook case where a grand jury should have convened but was not. That is appalling,\u201d an FBI special agent who has worked public corruption and criminal cases said of the decision. <strong>\u201cWe talk about it in the office and don\u2019t know how Comey can keep going.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Another special agent for the bureau that\u00a0worked counter-terrorism and criminal cases said he is offended by Comey\u2019s saying: \u201cwe\u201d and \u201cI\u2019ve been an investigator.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>After graduating from law school, Comey became a law clerk to a U.S. District Judge in Manhattan and later became an associate in a law firm in the city. After becoming a U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, Comey\u2019s career moved through the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office until he became Deputy Attorney General during the George W. Bush administration.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>After Bush left office, Comey entered the private sector and became general counsel and Senior Vice President for Lockheed Martin, among other private sector posts. President Barack Obama appointed him to FBI director in 2013 replacing out going-director Robert Mueller.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cComey was never an investigator or special agent. The special agents are trained investigators and they are insulted that Comey included them in \u2018collective we\u2019 statements in his testimony to imply that the SAs agreed that there was nothing there to prosecute,\u201d the second agent said. \u201cAll the trained investigators agree that there is a lot to prosecuted but he stood in the way.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Indeed, there were many\u00a0red flags surrounding\u00a0Comey from the beginning. So much so that I wrote an article in 2013 titled,\u00a0<strong><a title=\"Permanent Link to So Who is James Comey, Obama\u2019s Nominee to Head the FBI?\" href=\"http:\/\/libertyblitzkrieg.com\/2013\/06\/06\/so-who-is-james-comey-obamas-nominee-to-head-the-fbi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"bookmark\">So Who is James Comey, Obama\u2019s Nominee to Head the FBI?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>In light of the latest revelations that the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/libertyblitzkrieg.com\/2012\/08\/24\/the-nsa-is-completely-and-totally-out-of-control-very-important-video\/\" target=\"_blank\">NSA is spying on the communications of millions<\/a>\u00a0of Verizon customers courtesy of information provided by the FBI, it probably makes sense to know a little more about Obama\u2019s nominee to head that Bureau. \u00a0That man is James Comey, and he was a top Department of Justice attorney under John Ashcroft during the George W. Bush Administration (since then he has worked at Lockheed Martin and at the enormous Connecticut hedge fund Bridgewater Associates). \u00a0This guy defines the revolving door cancer ruining these United States.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Now back to <em>The<\/em> <em>Daily Caller<\/em>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>According to Washington D.C. attorney Joe DiGenova, more FBI agents will be talking about the problems at bureau and specifically the handling of the Clinton case by Comey when Congress comes back into session and decides to force them to testify by subpoena.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>DiGenova told\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/audioboom.com\/boos\/5157594-wmal-interview-joe-digenova-10-12-16\" target=\"_blank\">WMAL radio\u2019s Drive at Five<\/a>\u00a0last week, \u201cPeople are starting to talk. They\u2019re calling their former friends outside the bureau asking for help. We were asked to day to provide legal representation to people inside the bureau and agreed to do so and to former agents who want to come forward and talk. Comey thought this was going to go away.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong><em>He explained, \u201cIt\u2019s not. People inside the bureau are furious. They are embarrassed. They feel like they are being led by a hack but more than that that they think he\u2019s a crook. They think he\u2019s fundamentally dishonest. They have no confidence in him.
