Total number of docs is now over 15,200 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/UQ7onA52ga\">https:\/\/t.co\/UQ7onA52ga<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; RT (@RT_com) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RT_com\/status\/788202190309437441?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 18, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3>Doofus Bernie<\/h3>\n<p>In an email chain from December 2015, Podesta <a href=\"http:\/\/wikileaks.org\/podesta-emails\/emailid\/15464\">messaged<\/a>\u00a0Neera Tanden, president and CEO of the Center for American Progress, regarding the Paris Climate Conference and referred to Bernie Sanders as a <em>\u201cdoofus&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>for attacking the deal.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We need bold action in the very near future and this does not provide that,\u201d<\/em> Sanders <a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/energy-environment\/263042-sanders-paris-climate-pact-goes-nowhere-near-far-enough\">said<\/a> in a statement on the day the pact was agreed. Sanders also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0dQIP7JDovg\">said<\/a> one month before that climate change <em>\u201cis directly related to the growth of terrorism.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/twitter.com\/eddiecarl4468\/status\/788373546338701313?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw<\/p>\n<p>In January 2016, Podesta <a href=\"http:\/\/wikileaks.org\/podesta-emails\/emailid\/15465\">asks<\/a>\u00a0Tanden to <em>\u201cdo an intervention\u201d<\/em> in the endorsement of Bernie Sanders by Benjamin Jealous, a former president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhy would he do that? i&#8217;m happy to reach out to him. Not sure he will care, but happy to try,\u201d<\/em> Tanden tells Podesta in the mail. Jealous went on to endorse Sanders for his presidential bid.<\/p>\n<h4>Potential VP candidates<\/h4>\n<p>A list of potential VP nominees categorized in <em>\u201crough food groups\u201d<\/em> is detailed in a <a href=\"http:\/\/wikileaks.org\/podesta-emails\/emailid\/15616\">mail<\/a> from Podesta to Clinton. The 39 names include founder of Microsoft Bill Gates, his wife Melinda, Apple CEO Tim Cook and, categorized in his own separate group, Bernie Sanders.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Bloomberg is also included, along with Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and New Hampshire senator Jeanne Shaheen.<\/p>\n<p>An analysis of the <em>\u201cfood groups\u201d<\/em> revealed Podesta, along with others in Clinton\u2019s team, grouped potential VPs into seven categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Politicians of Latino descent<\/li>\n<li>Female politicians<\/li>\n<li>White male politicians<\/li>\n<li>Black male politicians<\/li>\n<li>Military<\/li>\n<li>Business magnates<\/li>\n<li>Bernie Sanders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Minorities<\/h4>\n<p>Race and sex are again focal points for choosing positions, as revealed in a 2008 <a href=\"http:\/\/wikileaks.org\/podesta-emails\/emailid\/16031\">mail<\/a> from Obama advisor Mike Froman to Podesta. Froman reveals he failed to attract African-American Susan Collins (then Dean at the University of Michigan) to a position described as <em>\u201cChair\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI don&#8217;t how you want to go back to him on things like this. I don&#8217;t think there is another candidate of color who folks would be comfortable putting up as Chair, though either Ceci or Peter (as a stretch) could be a Member,\u201d<\/em> Froman says.<\/p>\n<p>Podesta replies, <em>\u201cCan you call Larry and see what minorities he would put in top tier? Could be an asian. I know this isn&#8217;t Larry&#8217;s taste, but better if a woman.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Thumb drive<\/h4>\n<p>A July 24, 2015 <a href=\"http:\/\/wikileaks.org\/podesta-emails\/emailid\/15419\">email<\/a> from Clinton\u2019s longtime lawyer, David Kendall, discussed the intelligence community inspector general\u2019s notifying of Congress of a compromise of classified information in Clinton\u2019s emails, and revealed the lawyer was in possession of a thumb drive containing Clinton\u2019s private emails.<\/p>\n<p>A Washington Post <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/national-security\/criminal-probe-sought-into-clinton-private-e-mails-for-suspected-sensitive-content\/2015\/07\/24\/b90bf598-31f8-11e5-97ae-30a30cca95d7_story.html\">report<\/a> from the same date revealed the Justice Department had been notified of a potential compromise when it had received a <em>\u201creferral\u201d<\/em> from the Inspector General of the Intelligence Agencies, Charles McCullough III.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kendall, <em>\u201cthe report explicitly states that none of those emails bore classification or dissemination-limitation markings. It goes on to say that its own IC IG review of the 55,000 pages determined that at least 4 of these emails should have been classified &#8216;secret&#8217;\u00a0<\/em><em>on account of them containing IC information subject to such classification and that a thumb drive containing these emails is presently in the possession of David Kendall (that would be me) at Williams &amp; Connolly.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis appears to be the only reference to a \u201creferral\u201d in the notification,\u201d<\/em> Kendall\u2019s email concludes.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from the Office of Inspector General <a href=\"http:\/\/oig.state.gov\/whats-new\/9811\">explains<\/a> the<em> \u201cmain purpose of the referral was to notify security officials that classified information may exist on at least one private server and thumb drive that are not in the government&#8217;s possession.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>FBI notes from Clinton\u2019s email investigation released in September revealed a Clinton Foundation laptop and thumb drive were missing.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cNeither Hanley nor [redacted] could identify the current whereabouts of the archive laptop or thumb drive containing the archive, and the FBI does not have either item in its possession,\u201d<\/em> the FBI\u2019s notes read.<\/p>\n<h4>Goldman money<\/h4>\n<p>In a February 2016 <a href=\"http:\/\/wikileaks.org\/podesta-emails\/emailid\/15921\">email<\/a>, strategist Tom Cosgrove sent Podesta three ideas to help Clinton\u2019s campaign. He suggests giving the <em>\u201cGoldman money\u201d<\/em> to the Children&#8217;s Defense Fund, as<em> \u201cit gives her a legitimate opportunity to get the public to appreciate her long history of social justice in a way that just talking about it or advertising it doesn&#8217;t.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cosgrove suggests she use a variation of the line, <em>\u201cI&#8217;m all for Senator Sanders goals and will push them when 218 members of the House and 60 Senators are saints. But we know for a fact that the next Congress will not be filled with Saints.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Inspired by Jeb<\/h4>\n<p>Clinton\u2019s camp took inspiration from Jeb Bush\u2019s stance on the economy, liaising with a research group which praises Bush\u2019s <em>\u201cmessage\u201d<\/em> for attracting<em> \u201chalf of african americans and democrats and two thirds of latinos.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSome thought it ended too harsh. But the perspective on the economy has really worked. Now we didn&#8217;t tell people this was from bush. But its a warning,\u201d<\/em> reads the <a href=\"http:\/\/wikileaks.org\/podesta-emails\/emailid\/17155\">mail<\/a> from Lake Research to Clinton advisor Minyon Moore.<\/p>\n<h4>The opposition<\/h4>\n<p>Tapes containing nine hours of conversation with Donald Trump from <em>Never Enough: Donald Trump and the Pursuit of Success<\/em>\u00a0author Michael D&#8217;Antonio are offered to Clinton consultant Janet Keller in a <a href=\"http:\/\/wikileaks.org\/podesta-emails\/emailid\/16919\">mail<\/a> dated March 4, 2016. <em>\u201cHe does not want to be paid,\u201d<\/em> Keller is advised in the mail entitled \u2018Opposition research\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Harvard professor Larry Lessig, who announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for president in August 2015, is harshly criticized in an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikileaks.com\/podesta-emails\/emailid\/16535\">email<\/a> by Neera Tanden.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI f*cking hate that guy. Like I&#8217;d like to kick the sh*t out of him on twitter&#8230;but I know that is dumb,\u201d<\/em> Tanden writes to Podesta.
