{"id":52608,"date":"2016-10-17T12:56:23","date_gmt":"2016-10-17T16:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=52608"},"modified":"2016-10-17T12:56:23","modified_gmt":"2016-10-17T16:56:23","slug":"clinton-was-responsible-for-rise-of-isil-in-mideast-jill-stein","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=52608","title":{"rendered":"Clinton was responsible for rise of ISIL in Mideast: Jill Stein"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>\n<div id=\"mediaplayer\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"imgPlayback\" src=\"http:\/\/217.218.67.233\/photo\/20161010\/58542268-9789-4daa-8648-3d29a554fac1.jpg\" alt=\"US Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein (Photo by AFP) \" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h5 class=\"item-image\">US Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein (Photo by AFP)<\/h5>\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p><strong>US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was responsible for the rise of the Daesh (ISIL) terrorist group in the Middle East, says Jill Stein, the US Green Party presidential nominee.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stein made the comments after the second US presidential debate between Clinton and her Republican rival Donald Trump on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe power of ISIS (ISIL) in Syria comes directly out of the catastrophe of Iraq, which Hillary Clinton supported, and Donald Trump did, as well,\u201d Stein said Sunday during an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.democracynow.org\/2016\/10\/10\/expanding_the_debate_jill_stein_debates\">interview <\/a>(part two is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.democracynow.org\/2016\/10\/10\/expanding_the_debate_jill_stein_debates_clinton\">here<\/a>)\u00a0with the Democracy Now! news program.<\/p>\n<p>Stein and Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson were excluded from the presidential debate under stringent rules set by the Commission on Presidential Debates, which is controlled by the Republican and Democratic parties.<\/p>\n<p>The two candidates had failed to garner the 15 percent support in five polls required to qualify for the debate.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/217.218.67.233\/\/photo\/20161010\/edefe169-8aee-4a90-8eae-5246060800ca.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"555\" height=\"313\" \/>Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton makes a point during the second presidential debate at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri on October 9, 2016. (Photo by AFP)<\/h5>\n<p>The conflict in Syria \u201cis a crisis, a global humanitarian crisis. Millions of people are fleeing for their lives from Syria. I think it\u2019s something like half of a million people have actually been killed in Syria.
