The city initially said he had been killed but then <a class=\"story-body__link-external\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/CLTgov\/status\/778786529640648704\">issued a clarification<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Protesters then threw bottles and fireworks at the officers, who were lined up in riot gear. Police fired flash grenades and tear gas to repel the crowds.<\/p>\n<p>Several journalists were also reportedly attacked. We have actually trained other police forces.
