{"id":48308,"date":"2016-09-09T08:41:21","date_gmt":"2016-09-09T12:41:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=48308"},"modified":"2016-09-09T08:41:21","modified_gmt":"2016-09-09T12:41:21","slug":"over-70-of-us-doctors-surveyed-say-hillarys-health-concerns-are-serious-possibly-disqualifying","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=48308","title":{"rendered":"Over 70% Of US Doctors Surveyed Say Hillary&#8217;s Health Concerns Are &#8220;Serious, Possibly Disqualifying&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->ZeroHedge.com<\/p>\n<p>On a day when Hillary Clinton proclaimed the media biased (against her), labeling the <a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/business-a-lobbying\/295089-clinton-calls-sexism-on-gop\">GOP as &#8220;sad, misogynistic sexists,&#8221;<\/a> a survey of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/hillarys-health-concerns-serious-say-most-doctors-polled-by-the-association-of-american-physicians-and-surgeons-aaps-300325065.html\"><strong>Association of American Physicians and Surgeons<\/strong> (AAPS) <\/a>found that nearly <strong>71% of physicians thought concerns about Hillary Clinton&#8217;s health are &#8220;serious &#8211; could be disqualifying<\/strong> for the position of President.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>With her lead over Trump tumbling to six-week lows <\/strong>following a poor performance at last night&#8217;s &#8220;commander-in-chief&#8221; forum, and a press conference focused on what she was not asked (or didn&#8217;t answer)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/user3303\/imageroot\/2016\/09\/07\/20160908_dnc.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/user3303\/imageroot\/2016\/09\/07\/20160908_dnc_0.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2016\/president\/us\/general_election_trump_vs_clinton-5491.html\"><em>Source: RealClearPolitics<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hillary Clinton&#8217;s campaign has called &#8220;sexism&#8221; on the GOP.<\/strong> As<a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/business-a-lobbying\/295089-clinton-calls-sexism-on-gop\"> The Hill reports<\/a>,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"quote_start\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"quote_end\"><\/div>\n<p>The Democratic nominee, along with top surrogates and allies, has seized on Trump\u2019s recent comment that Clinton does not have a \u201cpresidential look,\u201d <strong>using the comment to depict him as sexist.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The former secretary of State also laid into Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus for his tweet that she looked \u201cangry\u201d during an MSNBC presidential forum.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clinton didn\u2019t rule out sexism when asked if she was being treated differently in the political race because she is a woman.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m going to let all of you ponder that last question,\u201d the first female presidential nominee replied with a grin at a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think there will be a lot of Ph.D. theses and popular journalism writing on that subject for years to come. I don\u2019t take my advice and I don\u2019t take anything seriously that comes from the RNC.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Chelsea Clinton also waded into the debate on Thursday, criticizing Trump\u2019s remarks about a \u201cpresidential look.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"quote_start\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"quote_end\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>\u201cEveryone can see that as the sad, misogynistic, sexist rhetoric that I hoped we had moved beyond in the 21st century,\u201d <\/strong>the former first lady&#8217;s daughter said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time accusations of sexism have bubbled up during the campaign.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"quote_start\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"quote_end\"><\/div>\n<p>Earlier this year, Clinton fired at Trump for saying that if she were a man, \u201cshe would get 5 percent of the vote.\u201d The billionaire criticized Clinton at the time for playing the \u201cwoman card.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThey&#8217;re pretty quick to yell sexism in a crowded theater &#8230; but constantly playing the victim card is not something you do from a position of strength,\u201d<\/strong> said Republican strategist Matt Mackowiak.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mackowiak said playing up gender is a \u201crisk that can backfire\u201d especially because \u201cthe first to make inroads with the other [demographic] will win.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This &#8216;sexist&#8217; call follows a lambasting of any and everyone who even mentions her health as &#8220;conspiracy theorists&#8221; with a political axe to grind. Ultimately, the media frenzy culminated in an article written by the WaPo&#8217;s Chris Cilizza who concluded that <strong>&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/the-fix\/wp\/2016\/09\/06\/the-questions-about-hillary-clintons-health-are-absurd\/?postshare=5801473175531425&amp;tid=ss_tw\">the questions about Hillary Clinton&#8217;s health are absurd<\/a><\/strong>&#8220;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/the-fix\/wp\/2016\/09\/06\/the-questions-about-hillary-clintons-health-are-absurd\/?postshare=5801473175531425&amp;tid=ss_tw\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/user5\/imageroot\/2016\/09\/05\/wapo%20health_0.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"68\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230; a statement which could pass for absurd judging by the Clinton campaign&#8217;s furious response to demonize any member of the mainstream who dares to even bring them up.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 *\u00a0 *<\/p>\n<p>Which means that, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/hillarys-health-concerns-serious-say-most-doctors-polled-by-the-association-of-american-physicians-and-surgeons-aaps-300325065.html\">according to AAPS, <\/a>over 70% of US doctors and surgeons are absurd right-wing tin-foil hat-wearers&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"quote_start\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"quote_end\"><\/div>\n<p><u><strong>Concerns about Hillary Clinton&#8217;s health are &#8220;serious\u2014could be disqualifying for the position of President of the U.S.,&#8221; say nearly 71% of 250 physicians responding to an informal internet survey by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS).<\/strong><\/u> About 20% said concerns were &#8220;likely overblown, but should be addressed as by full release of medical records.&#8221; Only 2.7% responded that they were &#8220;just a political attack; I have confidence in the letter from her physician and see no cause for concern.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While more than 81% were aware of her history of a concussion, only 59% were aware of the cerebral sinus thrombosis, and 52% of the history of deep venous thrombosis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>More than<strong> 78% said the health concerns had received &#8220;not enough emphasis&#8221;<\/strong> in the media, and<strong> only 2.7% that there had been &#8220;too much emphasis.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nearly two-thirds said that a physician who had a concern about a candidate&#8217;s fitness to serve for health reasons should &#8220;make the concerns known to the public.&#8221; Only 11% said a physician should &#8220;keep silent unless he had personally examined the patient,&#8221; and 10% that the candidate&#8217;s health was &#8220;off limits for public discussion.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Eighty-eight respondents submitted comments.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"quote_start\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"quote_end\"><\/div>\n<p>One said that<strong> &#8220;the public interest will ALWAYS override either privacy rights or rights of self-determination in the case of a presidential candidate.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another mentioned Clinton&#8217;s &#8220;so called loss of memory claimed during her FBI questioning about her email server.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the specific questions, one remarked that <strong>&#8220;I think that the candidate should be honest with the public about his\/her health!&#8221; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The history of the concussion was concerning: &#8220;The public must watch the movie Concussion to realize that such an injury does affect thought process.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>A poll of 833 randomly selected registered voters by Gravis Marketing showed that nearly half (49%) were not aware of the &#8220;well documented major health issues that Hillary Clinton has.&#8221; <\/strong>Nearly three-fourths (74%) were unaware of Bill Clinton&#8217;s statement that Hillary suffered a &#8220;terrible&#8221; concussion requiring &#8220;six months of very serious work to get over.&#8221; The majority (57%) thought that candidates should release their medical records.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"quote_start\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"quote_end\"><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Both physicians and other voters think that health concerns are relevant when choosing a presidential candidate,&#8221; states AAPS executive director Jane M.
