The case has percolated through the news over the years,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/articles\/2015\/07\/27\/ex-wife-donald-trump-made-feel-violated-during-sex.html\"> including stories<\/a> earlier in the presidential campaign season about whether the billionaire,\u00a0who is now the Republican presidential nominee, sexually assaulted his then-wife.<\/p>\n<p>Ivana has since said that she and Donald Trump<a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2015\/07\/ivana-trump-denies-accusing-donald-trump-rape-daily-beast-120721\"> remain close friends<\/a> and she has endorsed his candidacy.
