But The Donald
invited Hillary and Bill to his wedding years ago. They have a lot in
common and run in the same circles.

Both are deeply flawed and running as the nominees of two totally
corrupt political parties both of which support wars based on lies.

As Whitehead states, voting for the lesser of two evils is still evil.
This year, Clinton has demonstrated her criminality for all but the
blind and Barbra Streisand to see while Trump keeps showing up
as a not very funny star of his own (Un)Reality TV Show.

We can and must do better. Both Jill Stein and Gary Johnson offer
far more integrity and constructive ideas than either of the two main
candidates.

If you think you are wasting you vote, think again. Some feel Stein
could actually win: http://richardcharnin.wordpress.com/2016/07/27/2016-election-model-stein-vs-clinton-vs-trump-vs-johnson/

More important, by empowering one of the third parties with your vote,
you are sending a message to the corrupt establishment that enough
is enough. We want…..we demand, something better and different.

There is hope for the future. Tulsi Gabbard has shown she is bigger
than her own party and provides inspiration to those who want to see
someone who speaks truth to power about our imperial ways.
https://stateofthenation2012.com/?p=24757

As I and many others have said, it is time for a political party that
promotes peace: https://stateofthenation2012.com/?p=32281

What we have now with Trump and Clinton are one war party with
two wings. Americans have indicated they are fed up with these endless
interventions that have failed at great financial, political and moral cost
to our nation. http://revolutionradio.org/?p=139763

The campaigns of both Sanders and Trump reflected these deeply felt
considerations, however incohate. Sanders might have had greater
success had he followed the Trump formula and more aggressively
taken on Hillary for her many scandals and errors in judgment.

Trump has lost some of the momentum that he captured during the
primaries by articulating the public’s disgust with the Establishment.
His tendency to personalize every criticism and his petty, thin-skinned
behavior means he is squandering his advantage over his corrupt rival.

As someone who almost never votes for the very reasons expressed by
Whitehead in the article above, I say 2016 is a year that can make a big
difference and lay the foundation moving forward for a better future.

It may not matter (this year) who wins, but it does matter if you vote
for a third-party candidate who captures your vision for a better America.

[1

post-45100","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
