New boss doesn\u2019t care he jets off to protests<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n What is it with race activists who bellow \u201cwhite privilege\u201d while living in opulence<\/a>?<\/p>\n DeRay Mckesson, who left his cushy job\u00a0in Minneapolis Public Schools to lead Black Lives Matter protests across the country, not onlymakes\u00a0$165,000\u00a0as a high-level official in Baltimore Public Schools<\/a> as of last month \u2013 he\u2019s living off connections of leftist money man\u00a0George Soros.<\/p>\n The American Mirror<\/em><\/a> reports that Mckesson is living in a home \u201cowned by philanthropists James and Robin Wood in Baltimore,\u201d who are \u201cwealthy donors to the Baltimore chapter of George Soros\u2019 Open Society Institute.\u201d<\/p>\n Google Maps shows\u00a0a Whole Foods and Johns Hopkins campus near the house. (For some reason the Woods\u2019 homeowner registration, obtained by the Mirror<\/em>,\u00a0lists the mailing address as a\u00a0\u201csuite.\u201d)<\/p>\n MORE: Black Lives Matter leader lands cushy gig in big school district<\/a><\/p>\n Robin Wood is currently a law student at the University of Maryland, according to OSI-Baltimore\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mckesson is only one of many race activists getting money from Soros-backed groups like the Democracy Alliance, the Mirror<\/em> says.<\/p>\n The Baltimore Sun<\/em><\/a>\u00a0reports that the\u00a0new chief human capital officer\u2019s boss doesn\u2019t mind him\u00a0jetting off to a Baton Rouge protest this past weekend\u00a0after a week on the job<\/em>: \u201cDeRay is still a private citizen and he was on his time.\u201d<\/p>\n MORE: Yale pays Black Lives Matter leader to teach \u2018leadership\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n Mckesson took Monday off but said he had already been scheduled\u00a0to do that before heading to Louisiana and getting arrested for marching on a highway.<\/p>\n The Baltimore gig, an interim position, is Mckesson\u2019s fourth education job by The Fix<\/em>\u2018s count. He taught math in Teach for America and and served as a two-day guest lecturer<\/a> in Yale\u2019s divinity school last fall, besides his human resources job in Minneapolis.<\/p>\n
