Durkin | MEDIAITE<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Screen-Shot-2016-07-01-at-2.05.44-PM-300x205.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-41798 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Screen-Shot-2016-07-01-at-2.05.44-PM-300x205.png\" alt=\"Screen-Shot-2016-07-01-at-2.05.44-PM-300x205\" width=\"300\" height=\"205\" \/><\/a>According to sources that are familiar with the FBI\u2019s investigation into <strong>Hillary Clinton<\/strong>\u2018s use of a private email server, the former Secretary of State is not expected to face charges in the probe.<\/p>\n<p>This, according to CNN\u2019s Senior Producer <strong>Edward Mejia Davis<\/strong>, who took to Twitter shortly ago to indicate the likely announcement of \u201cno charges\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Sources tell CNN&#39;s Evan Perez: expectation is that there will be announcement of no charges in Clinton email probe w\/in next two weeks or so<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Los Angeles Lawyer (@AnLALawyer) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AnLALawyer\/status\/749347441057603588?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 2, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>During an unexpected interview hit on MSNBC this evening with<strong>Chuck Todd<\/strong>, Clinton herself was asked about the reports that she would not face charges. \u201cAs we were talking, there are news reporters that indicate no charges may be brought against you and a final decision in a couple weeks,\u201d said Todd in the waning seconds of the hit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"qualified qualified-1\">\u201cChuck I am not going to comment on the process. I have no knowledge of any timeline. This is entirely up to the Department,\u201d said Clinton, who voluntarily <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/hillary-clinton-fbi-email-investigation-election-2016\/\">sat with the FBI this morning for 3.5 hours<\/a> as part of their final stage of the investigation into the possible violation of the law and the handling of classified material.<\/p>\n<p>However, not everyone is so sure.<\/p>\n<p>During an exchange on the topic moments ago, conservative radio host <strong>Hugh Hewitt<\/strong> responded to me directly with his skepticism about the \u201call clear\u201d at this point of the process:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">That &quot;source&quot; would have had to have been in this AM&#39;s interview if only for 18 USC 1001 purposes. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump\/status\/749350193095667713?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 2, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, Attorney General <strong>Loretta Lynch<\/strong> announced that she would be welcoming the recommendation from the FBI and bureau director<strong>James Comey<\/strong> about the findings of the investigation. The FBI\u2019s last step was to interview Clinton directly, though no time frame has been revealed as to when the findings would be made public or passed along to the Justice Department.
