Ortel has previously gained recognition for being accurate in his financial whistleblowing. His keen ability to read financial documents exposed the fact that GE\u2019s stock was massively overvalued, shortly before it collapsed.<\/p>\n
Now, he says he\u2019s finding a persistent pattern of fraud in the woman who could be the next president of the United States.<\/p>\n
A \u201csubstantial portion of Clinton Foundation\u201d activity is anything but \u201c\u2019charitable\u2019 or \u2018tax-exempt\u2019 in the accepted legal senses,\u201d Ortel wrote.<\/p>\n
What they are is serious crimes. While he doesn\u2019t expect the Obama administration to take any serious legal action during a presidential election, Ortel is trying to get foreign nations to investigate and, if warranted, prosecute\u00a0the Clintons.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn some jurisdictions, such crimes are misdemeanors, in others they are more serious felonies,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI wonder why state, federal, and foreign regulators have allowed the Clinton Foundation to continue operating as it has done, illegally, for so long.\u201d<\/p>\n
The speculation that Hillary has bilked donors to enrich her political allies is well attested.<\/p>\n
Of the half-billion dollars the Clinton Foundation raised between 2009 and 2012, $75 million went to charitable grants for the poor, according to The Federalist. That\u2019s only 15 percent. But $110 million went to salaries, and $290 million was classified as \u201cother expenses\u201d \u2013 miscellaneous costs the Clintons did not bother to account for.<\/p>\n
Eleven of its board members received at least $100,000 a year in salary in 2013.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt seems like the Clinton Foundation operates as a slush fund for the Clintons,\u201d said Bill Allison of the left-leaning Sunlight Foundation last April.<\/p>\n
As long ago as 2013, the New York Times<\/em> warned that the Clinton Foundation was \u201csupervised by a rotating board of old Clinton hands, vulnerable to distraction and threatened by conflicts of interest.\u201d<\/p>\nThe nonprofit watchdog group Charity Navigator removed the foundation \u2013 formally known as the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation \u2013 from its website because of its \u201catypical business model.\u201d<\/p>\n
So far, the mainstream media has ignored Ortel\u2019s latest bombshell accusations. But with his track record, and her family\u2019s reputation for sheer dishonesty, it\u2019s only a matter of time before one of the serious criminal charges she is facing catch up to her.<\/p>\n
