At the time, I thought he was the worst president in American history.<\/p>\n<p>But Obama has made a lot of firsts himself \u2026<\/p>\n<p>For example, Obama:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Has prosecuted more whistleblowers than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2012\/04\/obama-has-prosecuted-more-whistleblowers-than-all-other-presidents-combined.html\" data-mce-=\"\">all other presidents combined<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sentenced whistleblowers to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2015\/05\/obama-has-sentenced-whistleblowers-to-31-times-the-jail-time-of-all-prior-u-s-presidents-combined.html\" data-mce-=\"\">31 times<\/a> the jail time of all prior u.s. presidents combined<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prosecuted fewer financial crimes than <a title=\"fewer financial crimes than President Reagan, Clinton or either of the Bush presidents\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2011\/11\/obama-prosecuting-fewer-financial-crimes-than-under-either-bush-presidency.html\" data-mce-=\"\">President Reagan, Clinton or either of the Bush presidents<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 (As bad as the Bush administration was, they at least prosecuted the heads of Enron, Worldcom and some other white collar crooks. In contrast, Obama <a title=\"hasn\u2019t prosecuted even one\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2014\/03\/30000-criminal-referrals-led-1000-felony-convictions-major-fraud-cases-sl-crisis-even-single-prosecution-today-even-though-2008-crisis-70-times-bigger.html\" data-mce-=\"\">hasn\u2019t prosecuted even <strong><em>one<\/em><\/strong><\/a>high-level Wall Street executive.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2014\/01\/contrary-claims-openness-transparency-administration-secretive-closed-administration-ever.html\" data-mce-=\"\">most secretive<\/a> president ever<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2015\/05\/obama-is-more-hostile-towards-the-press-than-any-president-in-history.html\" data-mce-=\"\">more hostile to the press<\/a> than any president in history<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Claims the power to strip Americans&#8217; liberty in a way that no other president has ever tried to claim &#8230; and that even <a title=\"King George didn\u2019t claim\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2013\/02\/daniel-ellsberg-obama-bush-cheney-rumsfeld-and-senators-voting-for-indefinite-detention-are-enemies-of-the-constitution.html\" data-mce-=\"\">King George of England didn\u2019t claim<\/a>. Indeed, Obama has rolled back some of our liberties <a title=\"rolled back liberties to the time of the enactment of the Magna Carta\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2012\/10\/the-same-secret-government-agency-which-spies-on-all-americans-also-decides-who-gets-assassinated-by-drones.html\" data-mce-=\"\">to the time of the enactment of the Magna Carta in <em><strong>1215<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Has turned America into the <a title=\"most spied upon nation in world history\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2012\/12\/americans-the-most-spied-on-people-in-world-history.html\" data-mce-=\"\">most spied upon nation in world history<\/a> (and see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2016\/05\/much-liberty-americans-left.html\" data-mce-=\"\">this<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2013\/05\/top-constitutional-experts-obama-is-worse-than-nixon.html\" data-mce-=\"\">this<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Has arguably <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weeklystandard.com\/gates-obama-has-centralized-power-more-than-any-other-president\/article\/2000642\" data-mce-=\"\">centralized power more<\/a> than any other president<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Has granted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2015\/03\/appears-bibi-far-popular-crazy-american-neocons-fellow-citizens-2.html\" data-mce-=\"\">less pardons<\/a> than any president since Garfield, who served only <a title=\"200 days\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/James_A._Garfield\" target=\"_blank\" data-mce-=\"\">200 days<\/a> as president before being assassinated in 1881<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>May be the only U.S. president in history who <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realclearmarkets.com\/articles\/2016\/02\/01\/barack_obamas_sad_record_on_economic_growth_101987.html\" data-mce-=\"\">failed to deliver<\/a> a single year of at least 3% economic growth (when adjusted for inflation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, Obama has presided over:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2015\/01\/poll-people-world-blame-bad-government-policy-runaway-inequality.html\" data-mce-=\"\">greatest inequality<\/a> of any president<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The first time in its history that America is viewed as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2014\/01\/02\/greatest-threat-world-peace-country_n_4531824.html\" data-mce-=\"\">world&#8217;s greatest threat<\/a> by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2015\/08\/americans-dont-know-that-the-rest-of-the-world-views-u-s-as-biggest-danger-rogue-state.html\" data-mce-=\"\">people of the world<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/the-fix\/wp\/2015\/01\/07\/the-story-behind-obama-and-the-national-debt-in-7-charts\/\" data-mce-=\"\">One of the largest net changes in debt<\/a> in American history<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Perhaps the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2016\/05\/u-s-government-corrupt-ever.html\" data-mce-=\"\">most corrupt<\/a> government ever in the U.S.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And as the New York Times notes this week, Obama has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/05\/15\/us\/politics\/obama-as-wartime-president-has-wrestled-with-protecting-nation-and-troops.html?smprod=nytcore-iphone&amp;smid=nytcore-iphone-share&amp;_r=0\" data-mce-=\"\">been at war longer<\/a> than any president in history.<\/p>\n<p>Worst &#8230;
