{"id":33666,"date":"2016-03-15T14:32:39","date_gmt":"2016-03-15T18:32:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=33666"},"modified":"2016-03-15T14:32:39","modified_gmt":"2016-03-15T18:32:39","slug":"the-basic-difference-between-trump-and-sanders-voters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=33666","title":{"rendered":"The Basic Difference Between Trump and Sanders Voters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->Thousand Oaks, Ca<br \/>\nMarch 15, 2016<\/p>\n<p>by Rich Scheck<\/p>\n<p>In my perfect universe, the left and right would come together<br \/>\nto form a new party based on a narrow agenda of shared values.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=32281\">https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=32281<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Tea Party folks now backing Trump and the Occupy Wall Street<br \/>\nleft now backing Sanders would find a way to unite to throw out the<br \/>\nestablishment politicos of both major parties whom they equally loathe.<\/p>\n<p>As things now stand, that ain&#8217;t gonna happen! Even though there is<br \/>\nmuch to gain from everyone calming down and seeing the wisdom<br \/>\nof cooperating on the few key issues, as they share the desire to avoid<br \/>\nthe chaos of\u00a0divide and conquer, recent developments demonstrate<br \/>\nthat idea is a\u00a0Scheckian pipe-dream.<\/p>\n<p>Trump is doing his part by wrecking the Republican Party and Sanders<br \/>\nis close to accomplishing that with his successes in the Democratic<br \/>\nprimaries.<\/p>\n<p>But if he falls short and Hillary captures the nomination, it will have<br \/>\nall been for naught. Likewise, if Trump is denied at the convention<br \/>\nwhat he earned at the polls, that revolt will have failed, too.<\/p>\n<p>Then the real revolution will begin where everyone will be very upset<br \/>\nwith no hope of any change in the foreseeable future. Even if one of<br \/>\nthese outliers is somehow able to prevail and capture the presidency,<br \/>\nother than channeling a lot of frustration, the prospect of ending the<br \/>\ndomination of the Banksters and the <em>Military Industrial Complex<\/em> using<br \/>\nthe ballot box may be delusional.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.veteranstoday.com\/2016\/03\/10\/sanders-trump-smokescreen\/\">http:\/\/www.veteranstoday.com\/2016\/03\/10\/sanders-trump-smokescreen\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Having said all that, there is a real difference between those backing<br \/>\nSanders, who want more government, and those enthusiastic about<br \/>\nTrump, who want less.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump gang reviles government for intruding too much in their<br \/>\nlives and wants it to go away:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2016-03-13\/much-more-just-trump\">http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2016-03-13\/much-more-just-trump<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Most of Sanders followers want government to do more for them in<br \/>\nterms of education, health care and job creation.
