This is why I\u2019ve decided to resign as Vice Chair of the DNC so that I can support Bernie Sanders in his efforts to earn the Democratic nomination in the 2016 presidential race.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.commondreams.org\/donate\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"caption-processed\" src=\"http:\/\/www.commondreams.org\/sites\/default\/files\/022816-theres-something-banner-690px.jpg\" alt=\"There's something in the air...\" width=\"690\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Over <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commondreams.org\/news\/2015\/12\/21\/sanders-skewers-dnc-would-be-home-progressives-assailed-dead-carcass\">the course<\/a> of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commondreams.org\/news\/2015\/12\/19\/thumb-scale-dnc-backs-bernie-questions-neutrality-linger\">campaign<\/a>, Sanders and his supporters have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commondreams.org\/views\/2016\/02\/26\/antidote-dnc-bias-against-bernie-massive-grassroots-turnout\">accused<\/a> the DNC of having a pro-Hillary Clinton\u2014pro-establishment\u2014bias.
