I encourage concerned citizens to study the
\narticles that appear below to see that the Obama
\nAdministration is determined to expand the war in
\nSyria in order to achieve its goal of regime change.<\/p>\n
The history of the Iraq war which was justified by
\nPresident Bush based on lies, and the entire
\nforeign policy of the US over many decades clearly
\nindicates a systematic attempt to mislead the American
\npeople and to establish dominance in the region.<\/p>\n
The presidential candidates need to speak out against
\nthis grave injustice and violation of international law.
\nYet, sadly, only the deeply flawed Donald Trump has
\nshown the courage to do so while his motives in outing
\nPresident Bush may have been limited to dispatching
\nJeb from the race for the White House.<\/p>\n
Trump succeeded in doing so but may have simply
\nraised the issue of 9\/11 as a clever election ploy rather
\nthan as an authentic gesture of concern for the truth.<\/p>\n
Moreover, as the situation continues to deteriorate with\u00a0Turkey and Saudi Arabia poised to invade Syria if the\u00a0US gives it the green light and\/or commits thousands\u00a0of its own troops to the fray, it is hard to think of a more\u00a0ominous situation than this possible start of WWIII.<\/p>\n
The Sanders’s followers appear to accept that their man\u00a0is sufficiently anti-war because of his vote not to invade\u00a0Iraq in 2003. One would think they had learned their\u00a0lesson from relying on that ploy with Obama in 2008.<\/p>\n
But the sad truth is that Sanders record is essentially
\nthe same as Obama, Clinton and the neocon-inspired
\nRepublicans who cling to visions of Pax Americana even
\nafter 15+ years of failed interventions.<\/p>\n
Cheney’s Long War is ascendant and about to get worse.
\nLittle seems available to stop it other than Putin’s willingness
\nto intervene on behalf of Assad. Despite the seeming
\nprogress by Kerry and Lavrov in establishing a ceasefire
\nthe information below and from other sources
\nindicate that the real agenda remains fixed and that the
\ntruce is merely a stalling tactic.<\/p>\n
I urge all those concerned about this crisis to call Senator
\nSanders and request he speak out against further escalation
\nof the conflict and that he strongly oppose\u00a0placing US boots
\non the ground in another example of\u00a0mission creep.<\/p>\n
His unwillingness to do so undermines any sense of
\nlegitimacy his campaign otherwise might have in claiming
\nthe high road of resistance to Washington’s complicity in
\nthese war crimes as detailed below.<\/p>\n
