Quite incredibly, city officials in Huntington Park, California appointed two illegal aliens to a City Commission Advisory Board in 2015. \u00a0The move was made by a documented immigrant. Needless to say, the voters were outraged at the appointments as they should be. The nation has been in an unrelenting recession and jobs are being given to law-breaking illegal aliens in the Golden State. \u00a0Go figure!<\/p>\n

This worsening environment has been systematically cultivated by Obama and Company. \u00a0Yes, Corporate America<\/em> is the real force behind the push for open borders and mass immigration; they get lots of cheap labor that way. \u00a0Their nominal CEO, President Obama, has intentionally violated immigration law for several years and his transgressions only increase in number and intensify by the month.<\/p>\n

A lawmaker\u00a0in Huntington Park, California, has prompted outrage in the community after tapping\u00a0two illegal immigrants to serve as commissioners on city advisory boards.<\/p>\n

CBS Los Angeles<\/a>\u00a0reported that first-year\u00a0City Councilman Jhonny Pineda, himself a documented immigrant to the United States, has appointed\u00a0Francisco Medina to join the city\u2019s health and education commission and\u00a0Julian Zatarain to sit on the\u00a0parks and recreation commission.<\/p>\n

The move makes Huntington Park the first city in the state to appoint illegal immigrants to city commissions.<\/p>\n

Pineda, who promised when running for his seat to create more opportunities for illegals, championed the city as one of \u201copportunity\u201d and \u201chope.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHuntington Park is a city of opportunity and a city of hope for all individuals regardless of socioeconomic status, race, creed, or in this case, citizenship,\u201d Pineda explained in a statement. \u201cBoth these gentlemen have accomplished a great deal for the city. For that, on behalf of the city council, mayor, and our city, I want to say thank you to them both and I am confident they will do an excellent job on their commission posts.\u201d<\/p>\n

The appointments were announced at a city council meeting Monday night, after which residents expressed outrage at the decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou only want to appoint these specific individuals, only two, because they\u2019re your personal friends that worked on your campaign,\u201d one individual said of Pineda. \u201cShame on you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandra Orozco, an activist in the community, explained that the move sends \u201cthe wrong message to other cities that you can be illegal, and you can come and work for a city.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Pineda insisted that a city attorney approved the appointments and that a commissioner does not need to be a registered voter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to make sure that we bring everyone together to the table here in Huntington Park so that we can make sure we\u2019re sharing the same vision,\u201d the city councilman explained.<\/p>\n

The appointed illegal immigrants, who had to pass a background check, would help advise the city council regarding legislation, not directly help develop policy. They also would not, like other commissioners, receive a $75 stipend each month they hold meetings.<\/p>\n

California has become increasingly friendly to illegal immigrants in recent months. A law went<\/a> into effect in January allowing the state\u2019s Department of Motor Vehicles to issue licenses to undocumented immigrant workers.<\/p>\n

Fifty-two percent of all new driver\u2019s licenses issued in the state of California thus far this year have been awarded to illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n
