The killing of over 20 members of Doctors Without Borders during a U.S.
\nairstrike in Afghanistan underscores the danger inherent in our foreign
\npolicy endorsed by both political parties that promotes the reliance on
\nthe widespread use of military force.<\/p>\n

So called humanitarian interventions, based on some abstract notion of
\nthe right to protect citizens of other countries that America decides needs
\nour help, are exactly the kind of foreign entanglements our Founders
\nwarned us to avoid over two centuries ago.<\/p>\n
As Justin Raimondo brilliantly discusses in his recent essay, the turmoil Styled Pax Americana by some, US Imperialism by others and the New\u00a0World Order by Daddy Bush himself, this policy of unending intervention\u00a0in the internal affairs of other countries has been an outright failure across\u00a0the planet.<\/p>\n Raimondo goes so far as to suggest that we have taken over the role of the\u00a0former Soviet Empire in our quest for global hegemony.<\/p>\n Millions have died since 9\/11, trillions have been spent, as countless The national security state that emerged in the wake of the Cold War is Until and unless this trend can be reversed, the soul of our once great
\nand chaos generated by these kinds of events, dubbed collateral damage
\nby its perpetrators and war crimes by its victims, represents the evil of
\n‘beneficent’ internationalism as practiced by the neoconservative hawks
\nwho fill the ranks of our political decision-makers.
\nRole Reversal in the New Cold War<\/a><\/p>\n
\nAmericans have loyally fought for their country’s misadventures. \u00a0And,
\nyet, our world-wide\u00a0reputation has disintegrated under the barrage of
\nbullets and lies we have\u00a0unleashed on the innocent and not-so-innocent
\nwho are our targets.<\/p>\n
\ncurrently triumphant in the form of the Military-Industrial Complex<\/em> that
\nnow completely dominates our political life.<\/p>\n
\nRepublic will remain in serious jeopardy. \u00a0As we continue to embrace the
\nevils of ‘beneficent’ internationalism, without responsibility or account-
\nability to ourselves or the world-at-large, America’s role as global
\npoliceman has\u00a0already been seriously\u00a0re-evaluated.<\/p>\n
