Los Angeles Superior Court Judge\u00a0Joanne O’Donnell ruled on Friday\u00a0afternoon\u00a0the Center for Medical Progress has First Amendment rights to\u00a0release\u00a0videos it covertly took of\u00a0StemExpress\u00a0executives talking about buying aborted baby tissue from Planed Parenthood. Almost immediately afterwards, CMP\u00a0released\u00a0a new\u00a0video that among other thing showed\u00a0the StemExpress CEO Joking about\u00a0receiving\u00a0entire dead babies from Planned Parenthood (over lunch).<\/p>\n
This latest video is only two minutes long and is\u00a0more of a trailer of things to come. Most of its content was made up of\u00a0bits and\u00a0pieces\u00a0of\u00a0previous\u00a0videos. The one new section featured\u00a0Cate\u00a0Dyer, the CEO of StemExpress\u00a0in a lunch meeting with undercover operatives posing as representatives of a biotech firm. Dyer is seen laughing about how StemExpress purchases fully intact aborted babies from Planned Parenthood. As she paid the check, Dyer is laughing\u00a0about how shippers of the aborted babies should give a warning to lab workers to expect such a whole (intact) baby.<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n \u201cOh yeah, if you have intact cases \u2014 which we\u2019ve done a lot \u2014 we sometimesship those back to our lab in its entirety,\u201d<\/strong> she says.<\/p>\n \u201cTell the lab its coming,\u201d she laughs about the intact unborn babies. \u201cThey don\u2019t want to open the box and go \u2018Oh my God!’\u201d<\/strong><\/u> Dyer adds.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Once the CMP videos began to be released, StemExpress realized a lunch they had back in May was probably an undercover sting, so\u00a0they\u00a0sued to preemptively block those videos from being seen. \u00a0Judge O’Donnell issued a restraining\u00a0order barring\u00a0CMP from releasing any videos showing current or former Stem Express employees, at the end of July – then rescinded the order today.<\/p>\n The Center for Medical Progress isn’t off the hook yet because the Judge say that even though they couldn’t’ be prevented from releasing the video, it was likely that StemExpress\u00a0prevail in its lawsuit claiming its privacy was violated.<\/p>\n Earlier this week StemExpess announced it was cutting <\/a>all ties with Planned Parenthood, but denied that it had done anything wrong.<\/p>\n The newly-released video is below, but expect more to come next week.<\/p>\n\n
