The article below by Kurt Nimmo accurately expresses my
\nunderstanding of contemporary American politics.<\/p>\n

FORGET TRUMP AND BERNIE: HERE\u2019S WHY CLINTON <\/a>
\nOR BUSH WILL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT<\/a><\/h3>\n

Rather than having a true two party system, what we have is
\na Kabuki dance between two wings of the same corrupt
\npolitical establishment named Republicans and Democrats.<\/p>\n

As the writer explains in detail with support from pundits and
\nobservers of our elections, the dominant force in our country
\nis the financial sector which has created a phony system of
\ndebt slavery through control of the printing presses.<\/p>\n

The repeal of Glass-Steagall under Bill Clinton, the decision
\nin Citizens United by the Supreme Court in 2010, the defeat
\nof Ron Paul’s attempt to audit the Federal Reserve and the
\nbail-out of the banks in 2008 have all contributed mightily to
\nthe worsening of the problems built into the banking system
\nwith the onset of the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913.<\/p>\n

The “stranglehold of the financial elite” described by the author\u00a0includes the dominance of the military-industrial complex and\u00a0the perpetuation of wars of aggression for reasons of\u00a0national security or humanitarian intervention which both\u00a0parties gladly back, usually with the utmost enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

The Princeton report cited by Nimmo describing how our\u00a0system has morphed into an oligarchy resonates with what\u00a0we see unfolding daily across the nation.<\/p>\n

The media play their role through their reliance on phony
\nstories spoon-fed to them by government spokesmen and
\nrepeated by embedded journalists.<\/p>\n

The public is further dumbed-down by being saturated with
\nthe make-believe world of entertainment and sports which
\nare used to distract us from what is done in our name, with
\nour money and often with our children when they are put in
\nharm’s ways to fight wars based on lies.<\/p>\n

The tragedy of modern America is reflected in a broad range
\nof activities that include our reliance on torture abroad, spying
\nat home, massive corruption by our corporations, and conflicts
\nof interests by decision-makers at all levels of government.<\/p>\n

It is also reflected in the decay of the moral order as we see
\nwith celebrities like Bill Cosby, Bruce Jenner, Kim Kardashian
\nand many others who have achieved fame while helping
\nAmericans “amuse themselves to death” as described by
\nNeil Portman 30 years ago.<\/p>\n

My efforts to form a new political party remain in abeyance for
\na variety of reasons. As I and others like those quoted have
\nindicated, the time is well past for the polity to articulate a loud
\nNO to the criminality and silliness that have overtaken our once
\nbeloved Constitutional Republic.<\/p>\n

Is it too late to turn back from this Huxwellian world our children
\nare about to inherit? Can the efforts of folks like Gerald Celente
\nwith his program to Occupy Peace change the fate of America?<\/p>\n

Can we “secure the Blessings of Liberty for ourselves and our
\nposterity” or will the pure political theater of the up-coming
\nelection keep us locked into the current travesty?<\/p>\n

These are the difficult questions responsible people must address
\nas the future rushes towards us in a world that often seems beyond
\nour control and understanding.<\/p>\n
