<\/a><\/p>\nYes folks, Pope Francis is a revolutionary destined to end up in the history books right up there with Lenin and Marx, Mao and Castro. He is obviously inciting revolution, wants civil disobedience and political insurrection, he is egging the poor into rebellion against a vastly outnumbered rich.<\/p>\n
In fact, Francis has become one of the world\u2019s great revolutionary leaders. He not only is inciting an uprising of the masses against wealthy capitalist billionaires, he\u2019s out in front of the emerging global revolution, encouraging the masses, shouting battle cries, a leader in the tradition of Washington.<\/p>\n
So the media should stop mistaking Francis\u2019s congenial nature, his perpetual smile, dismissing his true intentions. His is an aggressive call to arms, a call for a global revolution attacking today\u2019s out-of-control, consumer-driven \u201cmutant capitalism,\u201d a call to replace capitalism with a new economic socialism giving the poor \u201csacred rights\u201d on par with the superrich.
\nTime\u2019s Hale went on to outline the four \u201cfoundations\u201d of the pope\u2019s coming \u201crevolution.\u201d Hale covered the pope\u2019s tour in South America in, \u201cPope Francis Isn\u2019t Holding Back \u2014 And U.S. Politicians Should Watch Out.\u201d In Bolivia Francis warned that global capitalism is a failure and needs a \u201cstructural change\u201d because it runs \u201ccounter to the plan of Jesus.\u201d Hale then added that \u201cleaders of both parties might regret their invitation to the 78-year-old Jesuit pontiff\u201d to address a historic joint session of Congress in two months. Five reasons make the warning quite obvious:<\/p>\n
1. Socialism: Everyone has a sacred right to land, lodging and labor<\/strong> 2. Humans, not capitalist profits, must be at the center of global economics<\/strong> 3. Billions worldwide, cannot wait much longer for action<\/strong> 4. Revolutions begin with angry citizens, not politicians or philanthropists<\/strong> 5. Warning: Socialism is now a moral obligation, a commandment to obey<\/strong> Instead Pope Francis shifts our focus: The socialism is now \u201ca moral obligation. And for Christians, the responsibility is even greater: it is a commandment. \n\u201cPope Francis argued that everyone has a God-given right to have a job, to own land, and to have a home.\u201d These rights go \u201cwell beyond the traditional social teaching of the Catholic Church, which argues for the dignity of work, but doesn\u2019t go as far to say that everyone has a God-given right to have a job.\u201d But clearly, Pope Francis says the poor do have inalienable \u201csacred rights\u201d on par with those guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution. And clearly, Scott Walker and the GOP already deny a similar liberal agenda of \u201csacred rights\u201d to a living wage, property and a home.<\/p>\n
\nPope Francis message is unambiguous: \u201cUnbridled capitalism\u201d has become a \u201csubtle dictatorship,\u201d is now the very \u201cdung of the devil.\u201d Ouch, that must hurt even the stone-cold Koch ego. Francis says that capitalism\u2019s greedy \u201cunfettered pursuit of money\u201d is destroying the \u201ccommon good,\u201d setting a stage for revolutions. The pope urged the masses to \u201csay no to an economy of exclusion and inequality, where money rules,\u201d because capitalists will \u201cdestroy Mother Earth\u201d in order to enrich the superrich elite. Yet another revolutionary call to battle.<\/p>\n
\nEarlier Pope Francis\u2019 encyclical warned that \u201cdoomsday predictions\u201d about climate \u201ccan no longer be met with irony, disdain\u201d or dismissed without action. Now, Francis is aggressively pushing world leaders and humans everywhere to fight against all economic injustices against individuals. The clock\u2019s ticking loudly, time is \u201crunning out: we are not yet tearing one another apart, but we are tearing apart our common home\u201d here on Earth. Pope Francis also encourages people to start demanding, \u201cWe want change!\u201d Remember the 1976 movie \u201cNetwork\u201d: where an anchorman gets listeners shouting, \u201cI\u2019m mad as hell and I\u2019m not going to take this anymore!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTime\u2019s Hale says the pope\u2019s call for \u201cstructural change won\u2019t be the result from any one political decision.\u201d The pope understands that politicians rarely lead. Real change is triggered from below, by angry mobs, they get \u201ccaught up in the storms of people\u2019s lives,\u201d fired up, rebel, motivated to act, then revolutions ignite and move fast like a wildfire on jet fuel.<\/p>\n
\nAdmit it, Pope Francis is clearly inciting people to rebel with his passionate, provocative and inspirational message, which triggers memories of Marx, yet is directly from the Gospels of Jesus: \u201cWorking for a just distribution of the fruits of the earth and human labor is not mere philanthropy,\u201d not just a handout from capitalist billionaires.<\/p>\n
