In other words it was not a righteous war; it was a corporate farce undertaken on behalf of the banksters as well as all the other usual suspects. Above all, Vietnam was a fabrication of the Military-Indusrial Complex.

Truly, the Vietnam War was a hideous war that has left an indelible stain on American history. It will likewise plague the American conscience for generations to come. So many vets still suffer from PTSD because of the horrors of that totally misguided business enterprise.

Which bring us to John McCain. There were many his age who refused to fight in such an immoral and unlawful war. They took college deferments, they became conscientious objectors and fled to Canada. They faked physical disabilities and psychiatric conditions. Some even went into hiding from the draft board. Others took refuge in safe houses and churches.

Now those folks were truly heroic for having the courage of their convictions. They risked permanent alienation from their families, black marks on their records and being treated as pariahs for the rest of their natural lives. Many had to withstand taunts of cowardice and being unpatriotic; some were even accused of treason and sedition. Then there were those who were denounced for providing comfort to the ‘enemy’ … like there ever was a real enemy!

Meanwhile, John McCain was flying missions over a nation that the USA had no business attacking. Simply put, the prosecution of the Vietnam War was a naked display of raw military aggression undertaken to further the interests of the Anglo-American Empire. Yes, there are many other reasons for that terrible slaughter such as (i) expanding the global drug trade using Southeast Asia as a trafficking hub (remember the Opium Wars), supporting the Vietnamese Catholic hierarchy against a decidedly Buddhist majority, as well as establishing a beachhead in China’s back yard from which to launch all sorts of CIA black operations against them. There are many other quite significant and clandestine reasons behind the ‘Vietnam project’ that are well beyond the scope of this commentary.

So, again, just why exactly was John McCain in Vietnam? What was his purpose, both personal and military? To kill innocent people? To lay waste to the Vietnamese countryside?

Why did McCain even volunteer to enter that theatre of war, especially when so many of his peers found it to be an utter anathema?

How, then, does one find any heroism in his indefensible acts of aggression, safely sequestered in a cockpit far from the bombs that he released from his war plane?

From our seat, John McCain getting taken prisoner was only an act of great mercy on the part of the Almighty which saved him from committing any more atrocities and war crimes in a land he had no business.

If the reader doesn’t get it by now, let us make it perfectly clear —>

THERE WERE NO AMERICAN HEROES IN VIETNAM!

Perhaps their were draftees who were forced to fight a nameless and faceless enemy, who did sacrifice life and limb for their fellow GIs. War always creates opportunities for that type of selfless sacrifice. However, apart from those isolated acts of individual heroism, the Vietnam War showed the brutal and barbaric U.S war machine as an out-of-control global bully reeking with avarice and cowardice.

Case closed! … ?

Actually, Vietnam is an extremely sad and still open case that may never close as long as the notorious Monsanto poison — Agent Orange — continues to manifest as birth defects and deformities, congenital diseases and illnesses throughout the Vietnamese countryside.

Author’s Note

This exposé about the real John McCain should be considered in light of his deplorable and reprehensible behavior as a U.S. Senator, an office that he has brought great shame upon.
