By contrast, here on Earth, the emergence of the Trump candidacy
\nsymbolizes all that is wrong with contemporary America.The GOP is
\npetrified that Donald Trump will capture the nomination of its
\nparty for President.<\/p>\n
That is obviously a possibility as things now stand considering his
\nstrong attraction for the millions of disaffected voters who hate the
\nleaders within their Republican ranks and the corruption of both parties.<\/p>\n
While Trump is a very different person than Ross Perot who ran in 1992
\nand garnered almost 20% of the vote—even after he dropped out of the
\nrace for three months, the extent of the anger towards Washington has
\nonly increased in the 23 years since Perot formed his own party and
\nhelped Bill Clinton push aside the incumbent, Bush, Sr.<\/p>\n
With nasty words flying every which way from The Donald towards the
\nother contenders as well as Senator McCain, the New York realtor
\nand showman appears to be wearing out his welcome within the GOP.<\/p>\n
Efforts to tone him down having failed, the party elders are apparently
\ncontemplating denying him any legitimacy by excluding him from the
\nup-coming presidential debates.<\/p>\n
This crude version of “it’s my ball and you can’t play” is not worthy of
\nany major political organization much less one designed to select the
\nleader of the so-called free world.<\/p>\n
For those like myself who have long-championed the need for a third
\npolitical party, this is a mixed blessing since Mr. Trump is relying on
\ndemagoguery and the cult of personality to promote himself rather
\nthan a clear agenda to benefit the nation.<\/p>\n
For those who are convinced that elections have become increasingly
\nmeaningless exercises in diversionary entertainment, this is further
\nevidence to support their theory.<\/p>\n
As things now stand, the process of disintegration of the American
\npolitical system is accelerating with Trump as a symptom of the
\nproblem rather than its cause.<\/p>\n
I have longed complained of the massive corruption and secrecy that
\nemerged out of the Cold War which President Eisenhower warned about
\nin his Farewell Address of 1961.<\/p>\n
The series of articles from the Washington Post in 2010 illustrated the
\nvast array of new programs that emerged from 9\/11 to promote security.<\/p>\n
These projects have relied on technology to constrain our liberties rather
\nthan enhancing our well-being as the Kerse folks want to do.<\/p>\n
It is this reality that Jesse Ventura or Cynthia McKinney or Ron Paul have
\nattacked and who would make excellent third party candidates dedicated
\nto the transformation of the political landscape.<\/p>\n
With the Pope and other groups calling for a new global authority to govern
\nthe entire world in order to protect the environment and promote economic
\nfairness, the backlash against authority that Trump represents is completely
\nunderstandable.<\/p>\n
I predict his campaign will end up going third party. Hopefully this will be a
\npositive development and a baby-step in the right direction where something
\nlike the Keshe Initiative will emerge to empower the world.<\/p>\n
The greater danger and likelihood is that more war, economic decline
\nand civil unrest will be part of our immediate future whether under Trump,
\nBush, Clinton or any other new president.<\/p>\n
How to switch gears and implement the new positive paradigm before
\nhumanity self-destructs: that is the issue facing everyone today.<\/p>\n
Should he somehow become President, Mr. Trump will have to move
\nbeyond rhetoric and accept this immense challenge or see the nation
\nhe intends to lead fall further into decay and moral collapse.<\/p>\n
