Police said a gas pocket under the pond next to Indian Hills Golf Club caused the frightening scene, and that it was a natural event rather than a leak.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UdYum6v48S8\" width=\"410\" height=\"231\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<b>On mobile? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=UdYum6v48S8\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to see video of the bubbling pond<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>They closed the road to all but local traffic until the thing ran its course.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Natural Resources dispatched a team of investigators to the scene to make sure there was no harm to passersby.<\/p>\n<p>Reitknecht said the gas was even visible in the air.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight above the green, there&#8217;s a haze that looks like a gas,\u201d he said in the video.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WATCH: Gas bubbles out of Ont. golf course pond It looked like a vision of hell, if hell was a golf course.
