Barack Obama is no stranger to investigations<\/a> or scandal. \u00a0He has been front and center in his fair share of shady dealings<\/a> and suspicious associations<\/a>.<\/p>\n But this time, the United States Senate is the group investigating Obama.<\/p>\n The Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, a powerful U.S. Senate investigative committee, has officially initiated a probe into Obama\u2019s connections with OneVoice Movement, a Washington-based group whose subsidiary, Victory 15, is actively involved in \u00a0efforts to oust Israel\u2019s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.<\/p>\n The committee\u2019s investigation is significant for several reasons. First, the committee is bipartisan. The collaboration of Democrats and Republicans can accurately be taken as a rebuke to Obama who has not tried to hide his disdain for Netanyahu<\/a>.<\/p>\n Secondly, Obama\u2019s State Department gave OneVoice numerous taxpayer-funded grants. \u00a0If the grants are proven to have financed anti-Netanyahu efforts in Israel, Obama would be an accomplice to criminal acts<\/a>.<\/p>\n OneVoice is forbidden by U.S.law to specifically target Netanyahu.\u00a0They have denied working with Obama in the upcoming Israeli election.<\/p>\n However, in OneVoice\u2019s 2014 annual nonprofit statement, it admitted its Israeli branch would be \u201cembarking on a groundbreaking campaign around the Israeli elections.\u201d (H\/T FoxNews.com<\/a>)<\/p>\n Obama\u2019s questionable partnership has not gone unnoticed.<\/p>\n Netanyahu has made open and directed statements<\/a> that other governments are actively campaigning against him.<\/p>\n In a television interview, Netanyahu said the coalition against him is funded by foreign donors who are attempting to encourage voter turnout among left-wing Israeli voters.<\/p>\n Calling the move against him \u201cunprecedented,\u201d Netanyahu pointed the finger<\/a> at \u201cEuropean countries and left-wing people abroad.\u201d<\/p>\n Furthermore, recent polls show that a large majority of \u00a0Israelis believe the Obama administration is interfering in the election, set for March 17.<\/p>\n According to the Fox News report, the State Department grants constituted indirect administration funding of the anti-Netanyahu campaign.<\/p>\n The grants provided OneVoice with the $350,000 \u2014 even though State Department officials said the funding stopped in November, ahead of the announcement of the Israeli election.<\/p>\n We wouldn\u2019t expect any group doing Obama\u2019s bidding to be forthtright and truthful, but we hope facts are revealed in time to give Netanyahu a fair chance.<\/p>\n We are optimistic\u00a0Obama\u2019s efforts to defeat Netanyahu will fail and that Obama\u2019s illegal activity will\u00a0exposed.
