This law was repealed\/modified with the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, 112TH Congress 2D Session H. R. 5736, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.govinfo.gov\/content\/pkg\/BILLS-112hr5736ih\/pdf\/BILLS-112hr5736ih.pdf\">https:\/\/www.govinfo.gov\/content\/pkg\/BILLS-112hr5736ih\/pdf\/BILLS-112hr573&#8230;<\/a>. This changed the Smith-Mundt Act by taking away the the government&#8217;s limit and prohibition of propagandizing its own citizens by controlling the narrative..<br \/>\nTo end propagandized Fake news I am proposing this petition to repeal the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, 112TH Congress 2D Session H. R. 5736 which allows for Fake news to be disseminated.
