{"id":130334,"date":"2019-10-19T19:05:04","date_gmt":"2019-10-19T23:05:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=130334"},"modified":"2019-10-19T19:05:04","modified_gmt":"2019-10-19T23:05:04","slug":"i-stand-against-everything-she-represents-tulsi-gabbard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=130334","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;I Stand Against Everything She Represents&#8221; &#8212; Tulsi Gabbard"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>\u2018I Stand Against Everything She Represents\u2019: Tulsi Gabbard Deconstructs Hillary Clinton In \u2018Tucker Carlson Tonight\u2019 Interview<\/h1>\n<p><!--more-->SCOTT MOREFIELD<br \/>\nThe Daily Caller<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-content mb-2 pb-2 tracking-tight\" data-article=\"\">\n<div id=\"ob-read-more-selector\">\n<p>Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard ripped into the legacy of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in a Friday night \u201cTucker Carlson Tonight\u201d interview.<\/p>\n<p>After Clinton\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/10\/18\/hillary-tulsi-gabbard-russians\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">called<\/a>\u00a0the Democratic Hawaii congresswoman a \u201cfavorite of the Russians\u201d in a podcast, Gabbard\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/10\/18\/tulsi-gabbard-hillary-clinton-russia-warmonger-rot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fired back<\/a>\u00a0in a Friday tweetstorm, calling the former first lady the \u201cqueen of warmongers\u201d who uses \u201cproxies\u201d to oppose Gabbard\u2019s non-interventionist foreign policy positions and presidential campaign.<\/p>\n<p>During her discussion with Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Gabbard framed Clinton\u2019s opposition as being not only against her candidacy, but against \u201cevery veteran in this country, every service member, every American, anyone watching at home fighting for peace and who was calling for an end to these regime change wars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"mb-6 relative\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lL7IaFHLohA?feature=oembed\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>\u201cUltimately she knows she can\u2019t control me,\u201d Gabbard said, responding to Carlson\u2019s question about why Clinton is taking aim at her. \u201cI stand against everything that she represents and if I\u2019m elected president, if I\u2019m the Democratic nominee and elected president she will not be able to control me. She won\u2019t be able to manipulate me. She won\u2019t be able to continue to work from behind the curtains, to continue these regime change wars that have been so costly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Democratic presidential candidate said the blood of her \u201cbrothers and sisters in uniform\u201d killed in Iraq, a \u201cwar she championed,\u201d is \u201con her hands.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am calling for an end to these regime change wars. This is why she\u2019s speaking out strongly and smearing my character and trying to undermine my campaign,\u201d she said. \u201cJust as she is doing this to me, this is what will happen to anybody who is doing the same.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Responding to a question from the Fox News host about the massive media and political opposition from both parties to her foreign policy positions,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/10\/15\/tulsi-on-trump-supporters-deplorables-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gabbard<\/a>\u00a0noted that it happened as soon as she announced her candidacy. She then took a swing at the Clinton legacy:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And now we know exactly why.
