Schiff’s CIA ‘Whistleblower’ May Not Testify In Impeachment Probe After All<\/h1>\n

A CIA ‘whistleblower’ who\u00a0worked with<\/a>\u00a0former VP Joe Biden as well as two\u00a0Adam Schiff (D-CA) aides<\/a>\u00a0has apparently gotten cold feet<\/b>, and may not testify in front of the House Intelligence Committee\u00a0in person or in writing<\/em>, according to Schiff. This is\u00a0in stark contrast to what Schiff’s late\u00a0September claim that the man\u00a0at the center of an impeachment inquiry against\u00a0President Trump\u00a0would testify in the House “very soon<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

That was downgraded last week to testimony “in writing<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

And finally, on Sunday, Schiff told\u00a0CBS’<\/em>\u00a0“Face the Nation” that the whistleblower’s testimony might not be needed after all.<\/p>\n

“Yes, we were interested in having the whistleblower come forward,” Schiff said, to which host Margaret Brennan asked\u00a0“but not anymore?”<\/b><\/p>\n
