US Secretary of State John Kerry tries to re-write the history of American foreign policy, claiming that the United States has never been involved in multiple revolutions worldwide, a US political analyst reveals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ekaterina Blinova\u00a0\u2014 When US Secretary of\u00a0State John Kerry said Washington has never been involved in “color” revolutions worldwide, he is either lying deliberately or having a blind spot about\u00a0the US foreign policy, noted an American investigative journalist.Wayne Madsen, an American investigative journalist and expert in\u00a0international affairs exposed an astonishingly long list of\u00a0color revolutions, sponsored and organized by\u00a0the United States beginning with\u00a0the October 5th uprising in\u00a0Serbia that resulted in\u00a0the ousting of\u00a0democratically-elected president Slobodan Milosevic in\u00a02000.<\/p>\n

The author emphasized that “the United States supported the Rose Revolution in\u00a0Georgia, the Orange Revolution in\u00a0Ukraine, the Cedar Revolution in\u00a0Lebanon, the Olive Tree Revolution in\u00a0Palestine, the Tulip Revolution in\u00a0Kyrgyzstan, the Purple Revolution in\u00a0Iraq, Blue Revolution in\u00a0Kuwait, Saffron Revolution in\u00a0Burma and the Crimson Revolution in\u00a0Tibet (put down\u00a0by the Chinese security forces), and the abortive Green Revolution in\u00a0Iran,” to\u00a0name but\u00a0a few.<\/p>\n

John Kerry, who chaired the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in\u00a0the period from\u00a02009 to\u00a02013 and was a member of\u00a0the committee from\u00a02000, could not have been unaware about “color” (“themed”) uprisings orchestrated by\u00a0the United States, the expert stressed. Furthermore, Kerry served as\u00a0a chairman in\u00a0a series of\u00a0hearings from\u00a01987 to\u00a01989 on\u00a0the CIA covert operations aimed at\u00a0expelling of\u00a0the Sandinista government in\u00a0Nicaragua, the investigative journalist pointed out\u00a0nailing the US Secretary of\u00a0State for\u00a0sheer hypocrisy.<\/p>\n

Since the overthrow of\u00a0Milosevic in\u00a02000 Washington has carried out\u00a0a series of “color” revolutions in\u00a0rapid successions in\u00a0different parts of\u00a0the world. The “Arab Spring” that flared up\u00a0in early 2010s can serve as\u00a0a vivid example of “themed” uprisings.Remarkably, all the “street protest-turned-revolution” scenarios had a number of\u00a0strikingly similar features.The rebellions followed the infamous Gene Sharp CIA manual and were backed by\u00a0prominent US government-funded NGOs, such as\u00a0the US Agency for\u00a0International Development (USAID) and the National Endowment for\u00a0Democracy (NED). Additionally, according to\u00a0Madsen, the traces of\u00a0notorious American magnate George Soros and his organizations also surfaced in\u00a0a number of “smaller attempted revolutions” from\u00a0Honduras to\u00a0Maldives, as\u00a0well as\u00a0in Tibet and Burma. He noted that in\u00a0the last seven years China’s defenses has also been repeatedly tested by\u00a0the American “social engineers,” from\u00a0the 2008 uprising in\u00a0Tibet to\u00a0the most recent turmoil in\u00a0Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

Can John Kerry deny the fact that the “Euromaidan” revolution of\u00a02013-2014 was sponsored and orchestrated by\u00a0the United States? Alas, US President Obama has already publicly admitted the fact that Washington took part in\u00a0the coup in\u00a0Ukraine and brokered a deal to\u00a0power transition from\u00a0the democratically elected president Yanukovych to\u00a0Kiev’s junta.<\/p>\n

“Kerry’s entire State Department top echelon has supported color revolutions under\u00a0the Obama administration’s R2P (Responsibility to\u00a0Protect) rubric since\u00a02009,” noted Wayne Madsen, adding that currently Washington is sponsoring Russian opposition groups and using economic and political sanctions over\u00a0Ukraine as\u00a0a tool to\u00a0trigger a civil society discontent in\u00a0Russia.<\/p>\n

Exposing the hypocrisy of\u00a0the US Secretary of\u00a0State, the expert remarked with\u00a0a bitter irony that John Kerry “should be sent Crayola’s 64 crayon pack as\u00a0a reminder that there has been at\u00a0least that number of\u00a0color revolutions” planned and carried out\u00a0by Washington’s policy-makers across\u00a0the world since\u00a02000.<\/p>\n
