which &#8217;60 Minutes&#8217; construed as federal protection.<\/p>\n<p>The attorneys noted that President Trump had exacerbated concerns over the whistleblower&#8217;s safety, after he said &#8220;I want to know who\u2019s the person that gave the Whistleblower, who\u2019s the person that gave the Whistleblower the information, because\u00a0<strong>that\u2019s close to a spy. A partisan operative?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And following a bombshell report by\u00a0<em>The Federalist<\/em>\u00a0which revealed that the intelligence community\u00a0<strong>changed their requirement for first-hand whistleblower knowledge right as the CIA whistleblower&#8217;s second-hand report was filed<\/strong>, Trump tweeted &#8220;WOW, they got caught.
