President Trump’s personal lawyer Jay Sekulow alleged that the\u00a0whistleblower complaint<\/a>\u00a0filed by an intelligence community official was written by “a law firm.”<\/p>\n The whistleblower, who is\u00a0believed to work for the CIA<\/a>, filed the complaint and detailed\u00a0Trump’s July 25 phone call<\/a>\u00a0with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which the president requested the foreign leader to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden. The complaint, which was released on Thursday, and the rest of the details surrounding the phone call led to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announcing a formal impeachment investigation.<\/p>\n Sekulow appeared on\u00a0Fox & Friends\u00a0<\/i>Friday morning to discuss the ongoing saga.<\/p>\n He began, “So, when you start with a witness saying, Steve and Brian, \u2018I have no knowledge of the events I\u2019m depicting here, and I\u2019m basing this on conversations I had with colleagues of mine, and I think they are trustworthy.\u2019 Well, do you know if they heard it correctly? Well, I don\u2019t know because I don\u2019t have firsthand knowledge. And do you think the whistleblower drafted that complaint? I mean realistically?\u201d<\/p>\n
