{"id":128450,"date":"2019-09-23T12:09:06","date_gmt":"2019-09-23T16:09:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=128450"},"modified":"2019-09-23T12:10:08","modified_gmt":"2019-09-23T16:10:08","slug":"the-biden-warren-circus-continues-while-democrats-face-political-calamity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=128450","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Biden &#038; Warren Circus&#8221; Continues While Democrats Face Political Calamity"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"> As Biden Falters, Will Warren Survive the Scrutiny<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><!--more-->by Renee Parsons<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Despite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/latest_polls\/general_election\/\"><span class=\"s2\">early polls<\/span><\/a> which showed some of the \u2018top tier\u2019 Democrat candidates beating Trump in a general election,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>the last <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uspresidentialelectionnews.com\/2019\/09\/full-video-watch-the-abc-democratic-debate-from-houston\/\"><span class=\"s2\">DNC debate<\/span><\/a> left considerable question as to whether there was enough substance on that stage to win the White House.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While the much vaunted polls are known to be statistically unreliable and vulnerable to political winds since at least 2016, more of a PR gimmick than a rational calculation of public support, the MSM is in a virtual orgy of enthusiasm with the latest Iowa poll showing former veep and Sen. Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders fading as neoliberal Sen. Elizabeth Warren \u2018surges.\u2019 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">With Biden consistently exhibiting an incoherent, rambling vision on any aberrant topic that suddenly manifests in his mind, the least disruptive way to eliminate him is to manipulate the polls as Bernie\u2019s rating is also reduced while accelerating a highly problematic Warren, who is more acceptable to the DNC.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In an attempt to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2019\/09\/20\/democratic-debates-2020-1505058\"><span class=\"s2\">further control<\/span><\/a> the campaign\u2019s selection process and the party\u2019s final nominee, the DNC is preparing to increase its requirements for future debates; thereby limiting the stage to its most favored candidates (not including Bernie) from the moderate, bobbing head wing of the Democratic Party.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As the DNC plods along repudiating its name with its undemocratic behavior, it attempts to convince the party\u2019s rank and file that their anointed candidates are The Best, each a model of excellence, virtue and superiority. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The truth is that the Dems have little to offer but divisiveness as they continue to deny the reality of being in the throes of an institutional meltdown unlike anything they have previously experienced. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Quantum world makes its presence known with the Paradigm Shift upon us, intent on demonstrating its ability to disrupt the nature of reality as it roots out institutional corruption with the Department of Justice and FBI scandals as prime examples. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Stuck in the materialist way of thinking, the Dems continue to flounder solely focused on the partisan virtue of identity politics with outdated candidates promoting outdated solutions to outdated ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As the Dems reject independent thinkers like Tulsi Gabbard and John Delaney who offer an opportunity to heal the acrimony and re-envision a 21<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><sup>st<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> Century society, the DNC and its establishment candidates are reminiscent of a coven of lost, directionless souls.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Here is a closer look at two of the \u2018top tier\u2019 candidates being groomed with former Veep and Sen. Joe Biden holding a tenuous lead. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Perhaps the most significant question of the evening came from ABC reporter Linsey Davis as she asked a visibly snickering Biden about race and inequality in schools.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Davis began with a Biden quote from a 1975 interview: <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201c<i>I don\u2019t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I feel responsible for what the situation is today for the sins of my own generation<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>and <\/i><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><i>I\u2019ll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s5\">Davis:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>\u201c<i>You said that 40 years ago but as you stand here tonight<\/i>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uspresidentialelectionnews.com\/2019\/09\/full-video-watch-the-abc-democratic-debate-from-houston\/\"><span class=\"s2\"><i>What responsibility do Americans need to take to repair the legacy of slavery in our country<\/i>?\u201d<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Biden \u201c<i>They have to deal with, look<\/i>\u2026<i>there is institutional segregation in this country and from the time<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I got involved I started dealing with that; red lining, banks, making sure that we are in a position where, look..\u2026I propose that we take<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>those very poor schools, the Title l schools, triple the amount of money we spend from $15<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>to $ 45<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>billion a year, give every single teacher a raise to the equal of getting out to the $60,000<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>level; Number two make sure that we bring in to help the students, the teacher deal with the problems that come from home.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The problems that come from<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>home\u2026we need, we have one school psychologist for every 1500 kids in America today.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s crazy. The teachers are..I\u2019m married to a teacher, my deceased wife is a teacher. They have every problem coming to them.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We have to make sure that <\/i><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><i>every child does in fact, have 3, 4 and 5 year olds go to school, school not to daycare, school<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/i><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><i>We bring in social workers into homes of parents to help them deal with how to raise their children.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s not like they don\u2019t want to help; they don\u2019t know quite what to do.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Play the radio, make sure that the television, excuse me, make sure the you have record player on at night, the phono&#8230;.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Make sure the kids hear words<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/i><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><i>A kid coming from a very poor school, a very poor background will hear 4 million words fewer spoken by the time they get there.<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>there\u2019s so much we<\/i>\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Davis:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>\u201c<i>Thank you Mr. vice president<\/i>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Biden:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>\u201c<i>I\u2019m going to go on like the rest of them do, twice over. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Here\u2019s the deal, we\u2019ve got this a little backwards. And by the way, in Venezuela.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We should be allowing<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>people to come here from Venezuela. I know Maduro. I\u2019ve confronted Maduro.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Number two. You talk about the need to do something in Latin America.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m the guy who came up with $740 million to see to it that those three countries change their system so these people don\u2019t have a chance to leave.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>You\u2019re acting like we just came up with this yesterday<\/i>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Looking lost and bewildered in the aftermath of a disastrous performance,<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> the MSM shielded Biden from provocative headlines, raised no questions as to his mental competence or questioned his views on race relations.<\/span><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\">Like the DNC itself,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Biden\u2019s ability and energy to conduct a coherent, vigorous 2020 campaign is questionable as each may wander as wounded, confused dinosaurs struggling to approach the finish line<\/span><span class=\"s1\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Gun Control and the Filibuster<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In response to a discussion on gun control, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) said: <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s6\">\u2026\u201d<\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>why doesn\u2019t it happen?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The answer is corruption pure and simple.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We have a Congress beholden to the gun industry and unless we\u2019re willing to address that head on and <\/i><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><i>roll back the filibuster we\u2019re not going to get anything done on guns<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I was in the US Senate when 54 Senators said let\u2019s do background checks, let\u2019s get rid of assault weapons and with 54 Senators, <\/i><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><i>it failed because of the filibuster<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Until we attack the systemic problems, we can\u2019t get gun reform in this country<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s6\">.\u201d <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In 2010 the Democratic-controlled Senate conducted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rules.senate.gov\/hearings\/examining-the-filibuster-silent-filibusters-holds-and-the-senate-confirmation-process\"><span class=\"s2\">hearings<\/span><\/a> on the filibuster and in 2013<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>voted 52-48 to eliminate the filibuster on executive and judicial branch nominees while leaving the 60 votes required<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>to end a filibuster in place.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\">Warren<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>has served in the Senate since January, 2013 and was present for the filibuster vote<\/span><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><span class=\"s6\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s1\">In other words, it is preferable to blame an opposing political target rather than accept responsibility for Congressional ineptitude. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In 2015, the Republicans took control of the Senate and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/politics\/archive\/2017\/01\/democrats-trump-cabinet-senate\/513782\/\"><span class=\"s2\">kept the 2013 rules<\/span><\/a> in place.<\/span><span class=\"s6\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s1\">In addition, Warren is apparently unaware that the Democratic-controlled Congress in 2010 made <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/2019\/08\/15\/democratic_dishonesty_on_assault-weapon_bans_483393.html\"><span class=\"s2\">no attempt<\/span><\/a> to restore the <a href=\"https:\/\/newrepublic.com\/article\/82421\/gun-control-democrats-obama-congress\"><span class=\"s2\">assault gun ban<\/span><\/a> that had expired in 2004.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>As a one-dimensional thinker, Warren has yet to make the connection between a \u2018terrorist\u2019 hate attack under the influence of psychotropic drugs and\/or MK ultra as perpetuated by those who would benefit from civil discord. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While the ACLU supports \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aclu.org\/blog\/mobilization\/aclus-position-gun-control\"><span class=\"s2\">reasonable restrictions<\/span><\/a> that promote public safety\u201d and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aclu.org\/blog\/disability-rights\/gun-control-laws-should-be-fair\"><span class=\"s2\">opposed an Obama Executive Order<\/span><\/a> that would have registered thousands of Social Security recipients with mental disabilities as part of the Background Check System, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aclu.org\/blog\/disability-rights\/gun-control-laws-should-be-fair\"><span class=\"s2\">ACLU<\/span><\/a> does not oppose the Second Amendment as it represents a collective Constitutional right rather than an individual citizen\u2019s right. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s4\">Immigration <\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Debate monitor Jorge Ramos of Univision News led the questioning on immigration proving that there is no rational discussion possible with Democrats if there is disagreement on one of their core policies such as open borders.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>With not a whit of objectivity<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>or a trace of critical analysis, the candidates spoke with one voice, fanning the flames of divisiveness, each expressing their vehemence as the Dems are unable to separate a politically-charged issue from the reality of millions of illegal immigrants requiring health care, education, housing and employment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As Sen. Warren suggested <i>\u201c<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><i>we have a crisis that Donald Trump created and hopes to profit from politically,<\/i><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>\u201d<\/i> the hypocrisy of the Dems is stunning for those with a memory that predates the 2016 election when the Dems had a very different policy.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Here is Bill Clinton\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?c4351026\/clinton-1995-immigration-sotu\"><span class=\"s2\">1995 State of the Union<\/span><\/a> which was greeted with a bi-partisan standing ovation and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.obamaspeeches.com\/061-Immigration-Reform-Obama-Speech.htm\"><span class=\"s2\">Barack Obama\u2019s<\/span><\/a> position, both of which are in sync with Trump\u2019s proposed immigration policy<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>(without the wall). <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>After their 2016 loss, the Dems realized that registering thousands, if not millions of new voters, albeit illegal citizens, would greatly enhance their political fortunes on election day. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">More Double Standards<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Warren was elected to the US Senate largely in recognition for her efforts as Chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel (COP) (2008-2010) and then launching the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in 2011 which was said to be the panacea to rein in the ever-increasing interest charges on American credit card debt. Today the CFPB presides over an eruption of credit debt and interest payments that are at all time highs as American banks <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magnifymoney.com\/blog\/news\/u-s-credit-card-debt-by-the-numbers628618371\/\"><span class=\"s2\">continue to rake in<\/span><\/a> a <\/span><span class=\"s4\">49% increase over the last five years with interest payments growing from $101 billion in 2017 to $115 billion in 2018 and $122 billion on 2019<\/span><span class=\"s1\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The COP was <a href=\"http:\/\/clerk.house.gov\/evs\/2008\/roll681.xml\"><span class=\"s2\">approved<\/span><\/a> by a Democratic Congress in 2008 to oversee the taxpayer\u2019s $700,000 investment into <a href=\"https:\/\/theweek.com\/articles\/798821\/tarp-needed\"><span class=\"s2\">TARP<\/span><\/a> (Troubled Asset Relief Program), to address the subprime mortgage crisis<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>and to purchase toxic assets to stabilize the financial sector.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>During her term as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?c4363808\/elizabeth-warren-questions-timothy-geithner-tarp-bailout\"><span class=\"s2\">Designated watchdog<\/span><\/a><\/span><span class=\"s2\">,<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> not one too-big-to-fail bank or banker was recommended for prosecution and no actions were taken to protect ten million American homes from foreclosure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Warren apparently sees no ambiguity between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/members-of-congress\/summary?cid=N00033492&amp;cycle=2018\"><span class=\"s2\">stockpiling $15 Million<\/span><\/a> from her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2019\/09\/09\/us\/politics\/elizabeth-warren-2020.html\"><span class=\"s2\">2018 Senate<\/span><\/a> re-election campaign to underwrite her 2020 effort, then disclaiming <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/warrens-top-donors-include-individuals-firms-represent-corporations\/\"><span class=\"s2\">corporate campaign donations<\/span><\/a> during the primary season (\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2019\/01\/25\/warren-says-she-doesnt-take-pac-money-any-kind-what-does-that-mean\/\"><span class=\"s2\"><i>I don\u2019t take corporate PAC money, shoot, I don\u2019t take PAC money of any kind<\/i>.<\/span><\/a>\u201d and yet planning to <a href=\"https:\/\/tyt.com\/stories\/16AJOKzVziKkKMUmsIUqMY\/31iVbPW9wdTNlaD5byh3Gn\"><span class=\"s2\">accept corporate money<\/span><\/a> during the election campaign.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Hyped by the MSM as a progressive activist, Sen. Warren supports <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NBCNightlyNews\/status\/1144054906527145985\"><span class=\"s2\">abolish private health insurance in favor of a government<\/span><\/a> run plan and is in favor of<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NBCNightlyNews\/status\/1144054906527145985\"><span class=\"s2\">free health care for illegal immigrants<\/span><\/a><\/span><span class=\"s1\">.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>While Warren<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.houstonpress.com\/news\/warren-gets-backlash-for-not-endorsing-sanders-in-2016-11284828\"><span class=\"s7\">did not endorse<\/span><\/a> <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Sen<\/span><span class=\"s6\">. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Sanders in 2016, she is currently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/elizabeth-warren-using-hillary-clinton-as-confidant-in-potential-face-off-with-trump\"><span class=\"s2\">consulting with Hillary Clinton<\/span><\/a> as a confidante.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b><i>Renee Parsons<\/i><\/b><i> has been a member of the ACLU\u2019s Florida State Board of Directors and president of the ACLU Treasure Coast Chapter.
