Jeffrey Epstein didn\u2019t limit his tacky art collection to his Upper East Side townhouse \u2014 his multimillion-dollar New Mexico ranch was home to a \u201ccreepy\u201d painting depicting a young girl wearing a wedding band, getting cozy with a lion.<\/p>\n
A contractor who worked on the sprawling property in 2013\u00a0provided a photo<\/a>\u00a0of the artwork to Fox News.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was huge \u2013 at least 5-by-5, 6-by-6 \u2013 in the main house, at the bottom of the stairs in the basement near the laundry,\u201d the contractor, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the network. \u201cWe would talk about how creepy it was, this strange painting with nothing else around it. From the minute you got there, you felt the uneasy vibe.\u201d<\/p>\n Zorro Ranch, the disgraced financier\u2019s 10,000-acre residence in Stanley, N.M. also had a several-story garage filled with the multimillionaire\u2019s high-end car collection, its own airport hangar and runway, pools, a firehouse, log cabins and guest homes, the worker told the outlet.<\/p>\n Security was incredibly tight, he said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had to be escorted in on a truck with other employees, and, once inside, we had to put little hospital booties over our feet \u2014 and it was mandated that we are escorted everywhere we went and use side entrances,\u201d the contractor recalled. \u201cAbout every 3 minutes someone would come down to keep an eye on us while we were working.\u201d<\/p>\n Whenever a so-called \u201cspecial guest\u201d was on the premises, security ramped up even more.<\/p>\n Epstein had hoped to use the $17 million property to impregnate countless women and \u201cseed the human race with his DNA,\u201d\u00a0The New York Times reported<\/a>\u00a0in late July.<\/p>\n However, there is no evidence that Epstein had any children, according to the report.<\/p>\n In the Big Apple, Epstein\u2019s East 71st Street townhouse\u00a0was decorated<\/a>\u00a0with a painting of his onetime pal, ex-President Clinton, wearing a Monica Lewinksy-style blue dress and red women\u2019s pumps while lounging in a chair in the Oval Office.<\/p>\n There was also\u00a0a $5.9 million painting<\/a>\u00a0of a woman cupping her bare breast \u2013 along with a taxidermied tiger and poodle.<\/p>\n Epstein died at the Metropolitan Correctional Center on Aug. 10 in what\u00a0his autopsy determined<\/a>\u00a0was a suicide by hanging.<\/p>\n He had been ordered held without bail\u00a0since his arrest July 6<\/a>\u00a0at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey.<\/p>\n Prosecutors said that between 2002 and 2005, he ran a sex trafficking ring in which he abused dozens of underage girls in his mansion on East 71st Street in Manhattan and his waterfront compound in Palm Beach, Fla.<\/p>\n
