House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) said on Sunday\u00a0that Joe Biden’s\u00a0Ukraine corruption scandal<\/a>\u00a0should be off limits as the 2020 US election approaches, and that President Trump shouldn’t be allowed to investigate – or encourage Ukraine to investigate.<\/p>\n

Biden has come under fire for a\u00a0March, 2016 incident in Kiev in which he\u00a0threatened\u00a0to withhold $1 billion in US loan guarantees to Ukraine unless President Petro Poroshenko\u00a0fired his head prosecutor,\u00a0General Viktor Shokin,\u00a0who was leading a wide-ranging corruption\u00a0investigation into natural gas firm Burisma Holdings.\u00a0<\/strong>As it so happens, Joe’s son Hunter Biden sat on Burisma’s board, and waas\u00a0indirectly paid\u00a0as much as$50,000 per month<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
