Former Democratic nominee for Nevada lieutenant governor Lucy Flores\u00a0has accused former Vice-President Joe Biden of smelling her hair before planting a “big slow kiss” on her head<\/strong>\u00a0in what has become somewhat of a predatory trademark maneuver.<\/p>\n

Describing the\u00a02014 incident, the then-35-years-old\u00a0Flores says she raced to a November 1 campaign rally\u00a0with unwashed hair<\/strong>\u00a0– spraying some “dry shampoo” in,\u00a0only to have Biden creep up from behind and ‘do his thing.’<\/p>\n

As I was taking deep breaths and preparing myself to make my case to the crowd,\u00a0I felt two hands on my shoulders. I froze. \u201cWhy is the vice-president of the United States touching me?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

I felt him get closer to me from behind<\/strong>. He leaned further in\u00a0and inhaled my hair. I was mortified<\/strong>. I thought to myself, \u201cI didn\u2019t wash my hair today and the vice-president of the United States is smelling it. And also, what in the actual fuck?<\/strong>\u00a0Why is the vice-president of the United States smelling my hair?\u201d\u00a0He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head.<\/strong>\u00a0My brain couldn\u2019t process what was happening. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. I was confused. There is a Spanish saying, \u201ctragame tierra,<\/em>\u201d it means, \u201cearth, swallow me whole.\u201d I couldn\u2019t move and I couldn\u2019t say anything. I wanted nothing more than to get Biden away from me. My name was called and I was never happier to get on stage in front of an audience. –The Cut<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Flores notes in her article how after some time had passed, “pictures started to surface of Vice-President Biden getting uncomfortably close with women and young girls.”<\/p>\n

I saw obvious discomfort in the women\u2019s faces, and Biden, I\u2019m sure, never thought twice about how it made them feel.
