Former CIA Director John Brennan has been an “evil force” throughout the Trump-Russia investigation, Rep. Pete King said Thursday, adding he’s suspected him of rigging intelligence reports against President Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign and during his transition period.<\/p>\n
“Since then, he’s repeatedly been on television and in the media talking about collusion,” the New York Republican told\u00a0Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.”<\/a>\u00a0“Now he says maybe he misinterpreted the evidence. If that’s the case, it means number one, either he’s a liar, or number two, he wasn’t smart enough to be CIA director.”<\/p>\n Brennan “disgraced his office,” King said.<\/p>\n “For him to say the president’s guilty of collusion, of treason, that, to me, was evil to say unless he had absolute proof. As it turns out, he had none,” King said.<\/p>\n
