Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez, who is chief of the city’s 72nd precinct in Brooklyn,\u00a0allegedly told officers to shoot 50 Cent “on sight” at a police roll-call, otherwise known as a briefing.<\/p>\n
Curtis James Jackson III, known professionally as 50 Cent,\u00a0tweeted\u00a0on Sunday\u00a0he\u00a0is taking the threat “very seriously” and has consulted\u00a0with his lawyers<\/p>\n “This is how I wake up this morning, This guy Emanuel Gonzales (sic) is a dirty cop abusing his POWER,” 50 Cent tweeted. “The sad part is this man still has a badge and a gun. The sad part is this man still has a badge and a gun. \u2014 50cent (@50cent)\u00a0February 17, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n 50 Cent called\u00a0Gonzalez an “embarrassment” to law enforcement and said\u00a0the officer needs to be\u00a0“dealt with.”<\/p>\n Representatives for the rapper\u00a0said he is concerned for his well-being.<\/p>\n “He is concerned that he was not previously advised of this threat by the NYPD and even more concerned that Gonzalez continues to carry a badge and a gun,” the rapper’s representatives said in a statement.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 50 Cent also\u00a0described\u00a0Gonzalez as a “gangster with a badge” but expressed to\u00a0his\u00a0Twitter followers: “Keep in mind\u00a0there are some\u00a0good\u00a0people working\u00a0in law enforcement.”<\/p>\n Keep in mind there are some good people working in Law Enforcement.
