Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has inserted her foot squarely in her mouth as her &#8220;Green New Deal&#8221; PR nightmare continues.<\/p>\n<p>After removing an embarrassing FAQ from her website which failed to match the environmental legislation package she introduced on Thursday,\u00a0<strong>one of her advisers went on\u00a0<em>Fox News&#8217;<\/em>\u00a0Tucker Carlson Tonight and lied about it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The now-deleted version of the FAQ originally uploaded by AOC&#8217;s office contained an absurd provision for &#8220;<strong>economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work,<\/strong>&#8221; a phrase which AOC adviser Robert Hockett &#8211; a\u00a0Cornell law professor, claimed came from a &#8220;doctored document.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"max-width-video-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe id=\"fitvid627984\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0qyx6eDkrmw?start=222\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;I think you\u2019re referring to some sort of document that some,\u00a0<strong>I think some doctored document that somebody other than us has been circulating<\/strong>,&#8221; said Hockett in response to Carlson&#8217;s question about the &#8220;unwilling to work&#8221; statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oh, I thought that came right from her, that was in the backgrounder from her office, is my understanding,&#8221; Carlson replied.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>No, no. She\u2019s actually tweeted it out to laugh at it.
