It turns out that Nathan Phillips is raising money with the help of a major big-money left-wing operation, and\u00a0has a history of appearing in the press claiming to be a victim of anti-Native racism.<\/strong><\/p>\n In 2015, Phillips claimed that he was \u201cbombarded by racial slurs\u201d by students at Eastern Michigan University.<\/strong><\/p>\n As Fox 2 Detroit reported,<\/em><\/a>\u00a0an Ypsilanti man says he was trying to teach a few students dressed in American Indian theme party about respecting Native Americans.\u00a0Not long afterward, Nathan Phillips said that an interaction with party-goers and students turned ugly.<\/strong><\/p>\n Nathan Phillips says he was out for a noon walk on a Saturday in mid-April.<\/p>\n He walked by a\u00a0home\u00a0where he saw Eastern Michigan University students dressed as Native Americans.<\/p>\n “They had little feathers on, I was just going to walk by,”<\/strong>\u00a0Phillips said. “A group of them said ‘Come on over, come here.'”<\/p>\n He says he walked over to the fence and saw roughly 30 to 40 students involved in a\u00a0theme party.<\/p>\n “They had their face painted,”\u00a0<\/strong>Phillips said.\u00a0“I said what the heck is going on here. ‘Oh we are honoring you.’ I said no you are not honoring me.”<\/strong><\/p>\n It was a statement he says they took offense to.<\/p>\n “Then started whooping and hollering,”\u00a0<\/strong>he said. “I said that wasn’t honoring, that was racist. Then at that time, it really got ugly.”<\/p>\n Phillips says he was bombarded with racial slurs.<\/p>\n “(They said) ‘Go back to the reservation, you blank indian,'”<\/strong>\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n One student, he says, threw a beer can at him.<\/p>\n “If I would have stayed where I was at, it would have hit me in the head,” he said. “I backed up and it hit me in the chest.”<\/strong><\/p>\n He had seen enough at that point and says he called the police.<\/p>\n “By the time police got there, it was like there was no party there at all,” he said.<\/p>\n Phillips filed a report with campus police who tell FOX 2 they are investigating the matter.<\/p>\n “Whoever would sit judgement on them, the university the law, society, that is their job,” Phillips said. “I will pray for them that they will see a better way.”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Rings a bell?<\/em><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Additionally, Phillips\u00a0starred<\/a>\u00a0in a 2012 Skrillex video called \u201cMake It Bun Dem,\u201d in which\u00a0Phillips does some spiritual warfare connected to a violent attack on a police officer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/DxZB_7TUcAE1XSp_0.jpg?itok=asLWQ4rd\")
