from central California to Washington State about to be\u00a0<b>pummeled by a series of storm<\/b>s.\u00a0 \u00a0Rain, snow, wind?\u00a0 Plenty for everyone.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div year!\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>What about precipitation you ask?\u00a0 \u00a0Do you really want to know?\u00a0 The accumulated total through 4 AM next Thursday is impressive, with 5-10 inches over many mountain areas and even 10-20 inches over parts of northern CA, the Olympics and southern BC.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\"><a here is the accumulated snowfall for the 72 hours ending 4 PM Wednesday.\u00a0 2-3 feet for the high terrain from the central Sierra Nevada to southern BC.\u00a0 Our winter ski season is secure.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\"><a href=\"https:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-sdNGR1PetyQ\/XC4qbwmTW4I\/AAAAAAAAz7Q\/rsJJovKtstI5yUwqCVFFDxBwkmA1Sv-_QCEwYBhgL\/s1600\/snow72.168.0000.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" area of the coastal zone and mountain peaks.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>There is a silver lining of all this action of course:\u00a0 it will provide an immense amount of water to fill our reservoirs and enhance our snowpack, a snowpack that is now in pretty decent shape (see latest summary below).\u00a0 Water resources should be fine next summer.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\"><a href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-2HkS0HF2Et8\/XC4unT-5A8I\/AAAAAAAAz7o\/-5VZjFETUpwXBKhzO1Hyc5-dVIM2zPY-wCLcBGAs\/s1600\/west_swepctnormal_update.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" from talking about drought for our region, with the Seattle Stranger being one of the worst (see below).\u00a0 Facts should matter&#8212;apparently not at the Stranger.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div
