Cohen Denies 2016 Prague Trip: “Mueller Knows Everything”<\/h1>\n

Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen has denied a\u00a0Thursday report<\/a>\u00a0that he was in Prague in the summer of 2016 to meet with Russian officials.<\/p>\n

If true, the\u00a0claim which would support the infamous “Steele Dossier” – a collection of opposition research on the Trump Campaign during the 2016 US election. The dossier was funded\u00a0in part by Hillary Clinton’s campaign\u00a0and used by the FBI to justify spying on the Trump campaign.<\/p>\n

McClatchy<\/em>\u00a0reported on Thursday that a phone traced to Cohen “briefly sent signals ricocheting off cell towers in the Prague area in late summer 2016,” a report which echoed their\u00a0April\u00a0<\/a>claim\u00a0that special counsel Robert Mueller had evidence of Cohen’s trip – which\u00a0FBI and CIA sources told\u00a0a Pulitzer Prize-winning\u00a0Washington Post\u00a0<\/em>reporter that\u00a0theydidn’t believe<\/a>\u00a0Cohen took.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday afternoon\u00a0Cohen tweeted: “I hear #Prague #CzechRepublic is beautiful in the summertime. I wouldn\u2019t know as I have never been. #Mueller knows everything!”<\/p>\n
