<\/a><\/p>\nGovernment Accountability Institute (GAI) research director Eric Eggers says California\u2019s latest changes to state election law that allow so-called \u201cballot harvesting\u201d most recently aided Democrats in the midterm elections.<\/h3>\n

In an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot\u2019s\u00a0Breitbart News Tonight<\/em>, Eggers detailed how the state of California has implemented ballot harvesting that allows political operatives to collect voters\u2019 ballots and deliver them to polling stations.<\/p>\n \u201cA lot of things that we perceive to be voter fraud \u2026 are actually legal,\u201d Eggers said. \u201cSo California changed the law so that ballot harvesting allows for a third party \u2026 participants to collect ballots or harvest them from voters and then be able to drop them off at polling places. They just changed the law in 2016.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs soon as these people get on the rolls, you now have political campaigns, regardless of whether people should be voting or not, the political campaigns now have free license to go find you, and essentially even if they don\u2019t find you, just turn in a ballot in your name,\u201d Eggers continued. \u201cThat\u2019s what ballot harvesting is.\u201d<\/p>\n Eggers said California\u2019s enormous noncitizen and illegal alien population \u2014 almost 11 million foreign-born residents reside in the state \u2014 is likely contributing to potential voter fraud that is facilitated because of ballot harvesting.<\/p>\n What\u2019s fraudulent or suspect about it? Well, a number of things. Number one, we know we have a million illegal immigrants in California who have Driver\u2019s Licenses. So right away, the threshold there is between who can vote and who is registered to vote I think is quite different. So we know we have illegal voters registered to vote. In fact, ahead of the election, they admitted they had over 1,500 people because of the new automatic voter registration.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \u201cThey\u2019ve completely changed the landscape in California and I think that\u2019s one of the reasons why you\u2019re seeing the results be what they are,\u201d Eggers said.<\/p>\n \u201cThe impact has not been good for Republicans,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n Listen to Eggers\u2019 full interview here:<\/p>\n
