President Trump<\/a><\/span>\u00a0on Wednesday morning shared an\u00a0image\u00a0calling for\u00a0his opponents to face\u00a0trial for\u00a0“treason,” with many of them\u00a0behind bars.<\/p>\n The image, which the president retweeted from a pro-Trump Twitter account, depicts a host of\u00a0figures Trump has criticized, including former President Obama,\u00a02016 Democratic presidential nominee\u00a0Hillary Clinton<\/a><\/span>, special counsel\u00a0Robert Mueller<\/a><\/span>, former FBI Director\u00a0James Comey<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and former President\u00a0Bill Clinton<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n “Now that Russia collusion is a proven lie, when do the trials for treason begin?” the caption on the photo reads.<\/p>\n Several of the figures in the image were targeted with mailed explosives allegedly from a Trump supporter last month.<\/p>\n The retweet comes as reports emerge that Mueller’s team is working on their final report about its investigation into ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.<\/p>\n Trump on Monday lashed out at Mueller as a “conflicted prosecutor gone rogue” following a new filing from the special counsel that\u00a0claims\u00a0Trump’s former campaign chairman,\u00a0Paul Manafort<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0violated a plea agreement<\/a>\u00a0by lying to federal prosecutors.<\/p>\n In a series of tweets, Trump\u00a0accused\u00a0Mueller of causing “tremendous” damage to the nation’s criminal justice system and\u00a0\u201conly looking at one side\u201d in his investigation.<\/p>\n
