The rest of the White House Press Corp should stand with their colleague\u00a0<a class=\"PrettyLink profile customisable h-card x5l\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/Acosta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\" data-mentioned-user-id=\"22771961\" data-scribe=\"element:mention\"><span class=\"PrettyLink-prefix\">@<\/span><span class=\"PrettyLink-value\">Acosta<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and refused to participate in any briefing until this appalling decision is reversed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/twitter.com\/Susan_Hennessey\/status\/1060336621265059841?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1060336621265059841&#038;ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Fthe-media%2F2018%2F11%2F07%2Fcnn-analyst-calls-for-briefing-boycott-after-jim-acostas-wh-pass-revoked%2F<\/p>\n<p>The sparring between the pair occurred\u00a0after Acosta asked President Trump about the caravan of migrants heading from Latin America to the southern U.S. border. When Acosta attempted to pose a followup\u00a0question, President Trump said, \u201cThat\u2019s enough\u201d and a White House aide unsuccessfully tried to remove the microphone from Acosta\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly, I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN, and if you did it well, your ratings would be much better. Okay, that\u2019s enough,\u201d the president told Acosta after a brief exchange regarding the caravan.<\/p>\n<p>Acosta, still refusing to allow other reporters to pose questions, then asked the president for his thoughts on special counsel Robert Mueller\u2019s Russia\u00a0probe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them\u2013you are a rude, terrible person, you shouldn\u2019t be working for CNN,\u201d President Trump told the CNN reporter.\u00a0\u201cYou\u2019re a very rude person, the way you treat Sarah Huckabee is horrible, and the way you treat other people are horrible, you shouldn\u2019t treat people that way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has released a statement accusing Acosta of \u201cplacing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern,\u201d calling it \u201cabsolutely unacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern,\u201d\u00a0 Sanders\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/PressSec\/status\/1060333176252448768\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">said<\/a>\u00a0in a statement. \u201cThis conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter\u2019s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Acosta shared a video of\u00a0a U.S. Secret Service officer confiscating his pass after being denied entry for an 8:00 p.m. media \u201chit.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The US Secret Service just asked for my credential to enter the WH. As I told the officer, I don\u2019t blame him. I know he\u2019s just doing his job.
