A Special Counsel spokesman is calling this a \u2018fabrication\u2019 and a \u2018scheme\u2019, and has referred it to the FBI to investigate. The left is trying to defend Mueller against sex assault allegations so they attack me in desperation. The establishment media knows that Mueller may go down over this&#8211;they want to deflect attention.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Jack Burkman (@Jack_Burkman) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Jack_Burkman\/status\/1057373092807352320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 30, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong>The special counsel\u2019s office confirmed<\/strong>\u00a0that the scheme was brought to its attention by several journalists who were told about it by a woman alleging that she herself had been offered roughly $20,000 by a man claiming to work for a GOP activist named Jack Burkman \u201cto make accusations of sexual misconduct and workplace harassment against Robert Mueller.\u201d The woman told journalists in an email, a copy of which I obtained, that she had worked for Mueller as a paralegal at the Pillsbury, Madison, and Sutro law firm in 1974, but that she \u201cdidn\u2019t see\u201d him much. \u201cWhen I did see him, he was always very polite to me, and was never inappropriate,\u201d the woman wrote.
