President Donald Trump suggested Thursday that someone was paying migrants in the caravan traveling to the United States from Honduras.<\/h3>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re starting to find out, and I won\u2019t say 100 percent, I\u2019ll put a little tiny question mark at the end \u2026 but a lot of money has been passing through people to come up and try to get to the border by election day,\u201d Trump said during a campaign rally in Montana.<\/p>\n
The group of over 4,000 migrants is currently traveling through Guatemala, although the president did not cite evidence on Thursday to back his claim that some of them could be paid.<\/p>\n
The president said the caravan would be stopped before they reached the border, mocking Democrats for trying to influence the immigration issue.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey wanted that caravan, and there are those who say that caravan didn\u2019t just happen,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n
He told supporters the Mexican government would \u201chopefully\u201d stop the caravan before it reached their own Southern border.<\/p>\n
If Mexico failed, he reassured the crowd, he would send the military to the Southern border.<\/p>\n
He ripped Democrats for favoring illegal immigration, accusing them of wanting to import more voters into the United States.<\/p>\n
\u201cHey, they\u2019re not so stupid when you think about it,\u201d he said. \u201cBut they are crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Trump repeated that he needed more Republicans in Congress to help him change the immigration laws, calling them the \u201cworst in the world\u201d for allowing migrants to claim asylum and get released into the country.<\/p>\n
He admitted that the flood of migrants coming into the country was \u201chis fault.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI caused it because I have created such an incredible economy and I have created so many jobs, I have made this country\u00a0so great that everybody wants to come in!\u201d<\/p>\n
