Brooklyn Witches Plan a Public \u2018Hexing\u2019 of Justice Brett Kavanaugh This Weekend<\/h1>\n

If what Brett Kavanaugh had to endure to become a member of the nation\u2019s highest court did not feel like enough of a witch hunt, a group of witches in New York City are hoping to get their revenge on the now-Supreme Court associate justice.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, October 20, a group of witches in Brooklyn, New York, are hosting an event titled \u201cRitual to Hex Brett Kavanaugh\u201d \u2014 and are selling tickets to it on Eventbrite. Catland Books, the host of the event, describes itself on its website as \u201cBrooklyn\u2019s premiere occult bookshop and spiritual community space.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event page says that the group will hex \u201call rapists and the patriarchy which emboldens, rewards and protects them.\u201d They make it clear their primary target is Justice Brett Kavanaugh.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe will be the focal point, but by no means the only target, so bring your rage and all of the axes you\u2019ve got to grind,\u201d the event description reads. \u201cThere will also be a second ritual afterward \u2014 \u2018The Rites of the Scorned One,\u2019 which seeks to validate, affirm, uphold and support those of us who have been wronged and who refuse to be silent any longer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dakota Bracciale is apparently the organizer of the event \u2014 and she told Time magazine her motivation was to do \u201can act of resistance\u201d in response to Kavanaugh\u2019s confirmation earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s about having space for survivors of sexual assault who are not going to be silent and who don\u2019t want Brett Kavanaugh to serve as a symbol of defeat,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo weighed in Wednesday night on \u201cThe Ingraham Angle\u201d about the absurdity of the hexing event and shared thoughts about it with Fox News host Laura Ingraham.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish I were making this up,\u201d Arroyo said of the event. \u201cThey\u2019re saying the downtrodden and disadvantaged have always used magic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Brett Kavanaugh needs a few novenas to protect him from the witches\u2019 wrath,\u201d he later added. \u201cAnd in their tradition of terrorizing children, 25 percent of the money will go to Planned Parenthood \u2014 so they\u2019re being consistent witches.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSatan lives,\u201d Ingraham added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
