There isn\u2019t any mystery as to why George Soros is using his billions of dollars to prop up leftist groups across the globe. His speeches, press statements and news interviews are more than enough to recognize a man who hates the United States and wishes to tear down the entire system of the U.S. government and its founding documents.<\/p>\n
What appears to be a real mystery is the reason why hardworking American taxpayers are funding Soros\u2019 anti-American schemes such as the time he poured money into the campaigns of far-left candidates for states\u2019 and local attorneys general and district attorneys who prosecute criminals.<\/p>\n
Recently, the prolific attorneys at the heralded government watchdog, Judicial Watch, announced that their own corruption investigation revealed the Obama administration used federal tax dollars to support Soros\u2019 cronies and co-conspirators.<\/p>\n
The Judicial Watch investigation exposed the millions of dollars that were funneled through Soros\u2019 Open Society Foundation (OSF) to assist left wing organizations between 2012 and 2016, with millions of dollars more being earmarked for Soros\u2019 numerous political organizations during the Trump administration.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy your tax dollars are going to this billionaire\u2019s political organization is something that the American people have a right to know about. That\u2019s why a government watchdog filed several lawsuits against the State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to get answers on the dealings of Soros\u2019 worldwide operations,\u201d said Judicial Watch\u2019s President Tom Fitton.<\/p>\n
In March 2018, Judicial Watch had filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)\u00a0lawsuit<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0against USAID and its parent agency, the U.S. State Department, for records regarding their financing of political activities of Soros\u2019 OSF-connected groups in Colombia. One of those being funded by Soros\/USAID was the Bogota-based nonprofit called\u00a0Dejusticia\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>that claims to promote human rights and is run by a leftwing attorney named Rodrigo Uprimny.<\/p>\n Both Soros and Secretary John Kerry\u2019s State Department filled Dejusticia\u2019s coffers and Uprimny is considered one of the Marxist terror group known as FARC\u2019s biggest allies and promoters. A Colombian\u00a0news report<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0describes the group Dejusticia as \u201ca highly influential entity that has promoted the terrorist group FARC to the point of converting it into a legitimate political ally of the government which includes personal sessions with Colombia\u2019s president.<\/p>\n
